"What are you wearing?
I caressed the clothes that I am wearing. There's nothing wrong with it. It's a white T-shirt paired with a denim sleeveless dress reaching below my thighs. I also wear a pair of white shoes and my anti-rad eyeglass.
I smiled at her. "Isn't it nice?"
She blinked as she ran her eyes down to my body. "Yes, I know. I thought it's clear that students must wear their uniforms."
I smiled. "Of course, Mom. But you see? It's Friday. Wash day Friday! Kaya ito ang suot ko. Walang punishments kapag hindi nag-uniform basta't Friday."
Her mouth formed into an 'o'. "Oh. Okay. Very well. Let's go."
"A'right."
Agad akong sumunod sa kanya. I went inside the car wherein Tatay Sancho is driving. Tsaka kami agad na dumeretso sa paaralan.
"Thank you, 'Tay," wika ko saka lumabas ng sasakyan.
"Whoah! Himala!
I chuckled as they went near me and checked me out. They were encircling on me as fascination danced on their eyes. It made my cheeks reddened. It's making me shy for some reason. But at some point, it does boosted my confidence as well.
"Ang ganda, ah!" bulalas ng isang lalaki. I don't know his name but he's familiar. Probably because we've interacted many times before. "Himala, ah! Ganito ang suot mo, Miss Pres! Bakit? Anong nakain mo?" Mangha niyang bulalas.
Blood rushed up to my face as I carefully look down to my shoes to prevent eye contact with them.
"T-Thank you," wika ko.
"T-Thank you."
A girl giggled as she look at me with her magnetizing eyes.
I chuckled softly as I placed some strands of my hair on the back of my ear.
Gosh! Nakakahiya!
"T-Thank you. Y-you're pretty on your dress too," mahina kong sabi.
She giggled.
"Oh no. I just don't like it when students don't follow rules. Pero okay lang naman for me na magsuot kayo ng hindi uniform basta ba Friday. Since wash day natin 'yon."
Ngumisi ang isa pa'ng babae. "Parang gusto ko na tuloy maging lalaki."
Tumawa ako saka namula. Naiiling ako habang tumatawa. "T-That's crazy. And thank you. You're pretty yourself."
