My eyes are glaring as I look at Simour. He was just looking at me like an innocent piece of shit as if he didn’t do something wrong. Our parents were looking shocked as well as they looked at the asshole.
“What the hell, Simour?!” asik ko sa kanya.
“You’re not getting married, SJ?” tanong ng Mommy niya. “Akala ko ay magpapakasal kayo? That’s what you told us back at home. You even told us to hurry dahil baka hindi makapaghintay si Primm.”
Napasintindo ang Dad ni Simour. “I should have known that I raised a jerk. Then I would find out that you two are not getting married? Goodness! I was so ready to give up my business man life!”
“You could have told us the truth the moment you arrived, Sim,” wika ni Mommy. “We really thought you two are getting married. But then to my disappointment… everything was a bluff.”
My Dad shook his head in disappointment. “I should have known. I mean… that’s Carlos’ son. I’m sure nagmana siya sa Tatay niyang masungay.”
“Hey! I am not masungay na person!” asik ng Daddy ni Simour. “Baka ikaw! Tsaka huwag mong ilipat sa akin ang usapan, we’re talking about my son here!”
Of all people, you should have been the one who knows,” saad ni Dad.
“Just because I am his father doesn’t mean I know everything,” wika ng Daddy ni Simour.
“Stop it, you two,” wika ni Mommy. And this is not about you two, this is about Sim.”
Sim sighed. “I’m sorry, alright?
You fooled our parents! Are you happy with it? And are you happy seeing me like this? I feel so played!”
He sighed.
I have fooled my parents once. I don’t want to do that same mistake. I once became a fool, the very reason why I no longer want to make a fool of anyone.
Yet this guy… I don’t think he would change! Walang nagbago sa kanya, mula noon hanggang ngayon! He still love fooling other people.
“Simour, I am happy seeing our parents reunite. But the fact that you reunited them through your lies isn’t helpful at all! Have you ever thought about my feelings?” saad ko sa kanya.
