Cassandra POV
My outfit
''Jenna's barbecue? Seriously, is that what it's called now? '' I smirked.
"Don't make fun of it, young lady," Jenna warned me, and in the background Jeremy was laughing.
I smiled sweetly at Jeremy. ''Thank you for your support Jer, especially since you're laughing here."
"Please, I'm helping," he said, eating from a bowl of food.
I looked at Jenna. "And you won't tell him anything about it?"
"Jeremy!" she said. "Does it taste good or does it need salt?"
I blinked and didn't want to believe my ears what I was hearing. "It's okay, Aunt Jenna."
I pointed to two of them. "You two conspired on me, you bastards," after a while we couldn't stand it and we laughed.
"Good news, found the shot glasses," Mason enthusiastically announced.
''Best news! Hi Mason," I smiled and waved at him.
"I'm here 10 minutes and I'm back under the bleachers at the pep rally," Jenna said.
''It's just like old times, huh? Only I didn't swipe this bottle from my old man,'' Mason said.
And shots began to pour. ''Oh, the expensive stuff. I like you already,'' announced his arrival Alaric.
''Just happy to be invited.''
''Thank Ric, this was his idea.''
''Really?''
''Yeah.''
''I thought it'd be nice to meet some of Jenna's old high school friends. Dig up a little dirt.''
''Oh, I've got dirt. I got dirt.''
''I have no secrets. Only dirty shame.''
I raised an eyebrow at her. "Really, Jenna? No secrets?''
"Maybe just Cassie's secrets."
"What is Cassie's secret?"
"Secrets I only know about," I winked.
We picked up our shot of a glass full of alcohol and drank. "To dirty shame and Cassie's secrets."
"Ha, ha. Cheers."
"Hey," Damon greeted the incoming.
"Damon."
''We're just doing shots. Let me get you a shot glass, buddy.''
"Well, here. Use mine," Jenna said and left the room. Uh, it reminds me that I should inform her about the next update on the supernatural. Alaric left right behind her.
