Cassandra POV
My outfit
"Thank you Finn" I smiled at him as he placed a plate of breakfast in front of me. "You should learn from him how to treat guests," I pointed to the other siblings.
Kol rolled his eyes. "Please, you're not a guest, you're family."
"Maybe that's the problem," I whispered sarcastically, even though I knew everyone in the room could hear me.
"Do you have a problem with that my dear sister?" Elijah smirked at me.
"I didn't know you had it in you Elijah. My brother just used sarcasm, now I've heard everything!'' Kol declared dramatically.
I winked at him before blowing Elijah an air kiss. ''Of course not.''
"What's all the commotion down here?!'' an authoritative voice rang out and a person entered the room. I consciously looked at Kol, who rolled his eyes in annoyance. I looked up to face the person who had come. "And who could you be?" she asked curiously as her gaze landed on me.
I smiled at her sweetly, very sweetly. "I'm Cassandra, your children's friend."
She eyed me suspiciously before smiling and introducing herself. "In that case, I'm Ester, their mother, but you probably already know that." I looked at her for a while and I watched her and I made her ask me. ''Is anything wrong?''
I shook my head. ''You look good,'' I told her and before she could thank me, I added ''... on a corpse.'' I think she doesn't like me anymore. The way she looked at me could kill. And it didn't help that the others were trying not to laugh. Key word - trying.
I smiled sweetly at her, I saw her sigh before she said. "I'm glad my kids have a friend like you, they must have mentioned the ball that's being held tonight."
I nodded my head. "Yes, it was mentioned and my presence will not be missed."
"That's good."
Esther looked at me intensely before looking around at her children and exiting the room. "She definitely doesn't like me," I stated as soon as she was out of earshot and this time they laughed. "Speaking of the ball, I don't have a dress-"
''Let's go shopping!'' Rebekah suggested excitedly, and started out of the room.
"I swear she could shop forever," I muttered under my breath, very excited.
Kol smirked. ''Good luck.''
I sent him one of my killer looks. "If you don't leave the room now, someone will have to carry you out in a matchbox."
"Thank you very much, but I value my life. See you later!'' and ran out of the room.
I turned to the remaining brothers and raised an eyebrow in question. ''What?''
