I smiled blissfully at the temperature of the warm water and leaned against the edge of the tub. The man's hands drew patterns on my hand until they stopped at my neck and began to massage the tense muscles.
I moaned in pleasure and sank deeper into the water. "If you're going to make noises like that, my love," he teased, moving closer to my neck until I could feel his warm breath. "I will have to join you."
I smirked and splashed water on him. He made a playful face at me and threw the sponge, he used to wash me a while ago, at me. I laughed as I splashed him again.
He frowned at me and looked serious, so I repeated his movements before laughing out loud. It was funny when he was standing in his wet clothes with a smile on his face. Suddenly he started undressing while I was admiring my view.
As he approached the tub, I moved away from him. The tub was big enough to fit several people in, almost like a small pool. He stepped into the water and I heaved the foam to my chest. I didn't want to hide, I just wanted to tease him.
He had already submerged his whole body in the water and approached me, I tried to avoid it, unfortunately I hit the wall. I looked back at him, but he was already in front of me.
"Don't hide your gorgeous body from me," he put his finger under my chin to lift my head. "You are beautiful, do you understand?" he asked me and bent down as he started placing kisses on my neck. I nodded my head in agreement. "I love you, mon amour."
When he said that, it was like a light in the dark. You know about that light, maybe you don't need it, but you still like to see it, because it means hope, happiness, love, even the whole world to you. I blushed just as he met my eyes as he looked at me.
His eyes exuded reverence, respect, admiration, wonder, love,... I couldn't believe he was looking at me with such feelings. I couldn't believe that someone, anyone, would look at me like that. Not just like I put the stars in the sky, but like I was someone's whole world, the universe, everything.
It was like instinct when I uttered the following words. "I love you."
His face lit up and fireworks of happiness exploded in his eyes. ''What?''
''I love you.''
His smile widened, if that was even possible. "Say it one more time, mon amour."
"I love you, Nikkie."
He let out a long held breath and kissed me on the lips with all passion and love. ''I love you.''

I smirked at Elijah after taking a seat next to Kol and Kai. I snuggled into Kai's arms as I swung my legs over Kol's lap. They were both very excited when they saw Nik's outraged face. "Is something wrong Eli?" I asked innocently and his attention was on me.
