The months flew by and my family and friends made sure that every day was memorable. I was surprised at how many dates Niklaus had planned for us. Each week created a memory for me.
I would like to say that the last few months have been full of joy, and yes they have been. Elijah was fascinated by the brown haired, young vampire woman from 'Marcel's Army', her name is Gia and she is gorgeous. A month after they met he introduced her to us and I have to admit they were cute together. Late at night they could be heard playing the violin and piano together.
Or Kol, who introduced himself to the witches of New Orleans and helped them with their magic, not to mention he became Davina's mentor. In the beginning they were both stubborn and not helped by Kol's jokes, but they quickly realized they enjoyed each other's presence and complemented each other's ideas with their thoughts.

At our family dinners, I couldn't help but notice the affection that developed between Jenna and Marcel. I asked them about it and they both argued that they were just friends. I shouldn't forget to mention that they liked to avoid the subject and answered with red faces.

Yes, there was a lot of joy. Still, I could see the sadness that was hidden whenever we spent time together because each of them knew that one night would be last. I knew I was responsible for their sadness because I was the one who was leaving.
Kai, after seeing my devastation, went into protective and caring father mode. He took me out and let the evening flow by chance. We danced in the streets, painted pictures, listened to music, and while we ate street food on a bench, he talked about my mom.
