Thana POV
My outfit
After waking up in my bed with a blanket around me, with the rays of the sun beating down on me and hearing the waves of the sea hitting the shore, which sounded like music to my ears, I knew I had to prepare for today. Although I wanted to lie down for a while longer, the thought of certain people made me get up and start a new day.
With a smile, I was already ready for breakfast and I entered the common room to be greeted by the sight of siblings who were in harmony. Which was, for me, very surprising. "How did you sleep, sweetie?" Kai greeted me and handed me a coffee.
I took it in my hands and drank from the cup. ''Very well, thank you.''
A bright smile appeared on his face. ''Anytime,'' was his reply and we both knew it wasn't about the coffee. While we were talking together and laughing while discussing random topics, others were looking at us strangely. They looked at us with looks we could never register.
Freya called out once we were all ready to go. We left the hotel and headed for the beach, passing cafes or restaurants that we didn't like, to be exact - Rebekah didn't like. She found something, anything, she didn't like about every business. From the interior, little sun, many people, short menu, ... and the list could go on.
"Rebekah, as much as I respect your choice not to be in any of the establishments we passed, I warn you that aside from the two of you, we are still human and we are hungry. Although for me, eating normal human food is a better option, than food like people. So being you, I'll pick a business faster than bite someone's head off, if you're lucky it won't be you,'' I smiled sweetly at her and saw her swallow.
''This one,'' she pointed to the restaurant, which looked nice and welcoming. A delicious aroma emanated from the inside. It was partially filled with people talking and laughing, generally a friendly aura around them.
"Excellent."
___
After breakfast we walked a bit along the beach until we found some cliffs where there weren't many people. We sat on beach towels spread out before Kol used magic to reveal an umbrella with sunbeds. He smirked at Rebekah who was irritated that she had to move her things.
But I appreciated this gesture and smiled at him. ''Thanks,'' he winked at me in response and took off his t-shirt, which he threw on my deck chair at my feet, took off his flip flops and left them in the sand. Kai repeated his movements. They smirked at each other and I saw mischief in their eyes.
I shook my head at them, wondering what they were up to. I turned my head to the sisters who were lying basking in the sun as they talked. "Do you think we should have a ball when we get back?" Rebekah asked, and we both knew it was a rhetorical question. "Yeah, that's a good idea, I'll throw a ball in your honor, Freya. We will be there as a family.''
