The woman was standing on a cliff looking down. On the valley. Below her lay an almost endless landscape full of wonders and mysteries. In the time she spent here alone or with company, she explored a lot. But never everything.

She sensed him. Her soulmate how him got into her world. She smiled, knowing what happened. What did he do. So that smile on her lips was sly, knowing and proud.

She knew more than he expected. And if her physical form in his world listened to her soul more and didn't deny it existence or know about it, things would be different. But she liked to tell herself that everything happens for a reason. And if something is going to happen, it will happen, eventually.

"Who is hiding from me?"

The woman smirked at his voice. "Well I'm definitely not," she said turning in his direction, her smirk turning into a soft smile.

He smiled back at her. ''I'm glad to see you again. I would say that lately we see each other more and more. Not that I mind, I'm always happy to see you."

Her lips parted in a smirk. "I would rather call it a desire to see me."

He shrugged and walked over to her. ''For you? Always."

She smiled at him and hugged him. A warm embrace full of warmth. He relaxed in her arms and hugged her back. He felt at home. He felt at home with her.

''I'm proud of you. You did it."

And with those words he froze in place. She kissed his cheek lightly and wiped away the tears that fell from his eyes with her finger. She smiled at him and stroked his cheek.

''How do you know?"

"I saw it," she told him, "...and I felt it too. I felt the curse break. And the weight lifted from your shoulders, I felt your freedom."

"Did you see everything? Everything I've done?"

"I saw a beautiful black wolf. And the wolf looked at me with golden eyes. Then he ran off into the dark night."

He leaned closer to her touch and closed his eyes. "What would I do without you, mon amour?"

"You'll never find out, Nikkie."

''I hope so."

"It's hard to get rid of me and even if-"

'' -even if nothing. Nothing will happen to you. I will protect you."

''I know. And I believe you... but if anything, our bond won't just disappear. I don't think there is anything stronger than the bond of soulmates."

The woman saw how it did not calm the man much, but at least a little. "If I broke your curse and now I'm a hybrid, will I find you?"

The woman rolled her eyes. "Even if you were just a shepherd, you would find me."

"What?"

She laughed at him. She laughed at his ignorance. "You will find me, the path to breaking that curse was supposed to help you, in a sense. "

The man thought about her words before looking up at her with sparkles in his eyes. "So it's possible that I found you already?" he asked and the woman shrugged.

She replied with a smile. "Then why don't you find out, but don't be afraid, fate will put you in such positions that you will suddenly realize it. But don't forget to live..."

"I don't think living without you is fun and meaningful."

"Thank you for finding me funny but your family-"

"My family what?"

She rolled her eyes at his urgency. "Take it as a clue. Be with your family and live your life, try to understand them and fix your relationships. Sibling relationships are always difficult but valuable. That will eventually lead me to you."

He wanted to say something but shut up. He smiled at her. "Okay. If this is what will win you over, I'll be happy to do it."

She laughed and rested her head on his shoulder, putting her entire body weight on his chest. She looked up at the starry night sky.

"You're not doing it for me, you're doing it for yourself," she whispered and fell silent.

The man tried to understand her and her words. He really tried but she's confusing and... interesting. She is chaotic and calm, sane and crazy, childlike and fearless. She is everything and nothing.

She is his soulmate and he is hers.
