Three days later...
Thana POV
My outfit
''You took your time,'' I commented on his arrival.
Damon smirked at me. "I am sorry, My Majesty, if I had known you were waiting for us I would have hurried."
"Whatever," I rolled my eyes and bounced off the wall. "Where's the rest?"
"They'll be coming soon, maybe we've made a race to find you first."
''With whom?''
''With the Mikaelson's. Kol was more than excited to mess with his family,'' he explained simply. "I'd say they'll be here in half an hour."
''Well, we might not be here anymore, come on,'' I said, motioning for him to follow me into the warehouse. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the sight of lots of boxes, crates and dusty things. There was no light in the room itself, so when the door closed we were engulfed in darkness.
"Can't you do some witch juju?"
"Don't tell me you're afraid of the dark."
''No, of course not, but if we're looking for something, it would be good to see it,'' I shook my head at him annoyingly, even though he couldn't see it yet, and let go of a sheet of dark flames from my hand. "Why didn't I expect anything else? The whole thing with Death, of course if you need to light up a room, you don't take a flashlight.''
''Very funny.''
"Oh, I know, I'm amazing."
"You're kind of wannabe witty, but say what you want."
''Thank you, how nice of you. I completely forgot what it's like to hang out with you, sarcasm knows no bounds.''
"Rather just honest."
He laughed and we fell into silence. We went through one aisle after another, opening larger boxes to find only lots of junk and unnecessary useless things. When Damon asked me before what we were looking for, I simply answered him that something unnatural, or supernatural for us.
"Are you sure it's here, Thana?" he asked me. "As we are nearing the end after almost half an hour of searching and we have not found anything yet."
I put down the things I had in my hand and turned to face him. ''I know it's here. And it wasn't half an hour of searching, twenty minutes at most.''
"If you know it's here, why don't you just use your witch mojo," he waved his arms around to reinforce his point.
''I can't, it's magic in itself and I don't need to antagonize it right away, it might be afraid and I don't think it wants to feel Death around it.''
