The Brain and the Heart

Once upon a time there were two beings that lived. The Brain and The Heart. The Brain was a wise being, known to make perfectly calculated and reasonable decisions, while The Heart...was a small, wild type with a sort of obvious ignorance that made up their personality. The two beings walked along a shallow, gloomy, grey path. The sun never cleared the fog and only silence filled the air. 

Suddenly the two had stopped, seeing two paths that went the opposite direction. The right path had sun that destroyed the sour fog and the plants grew and the wind sang...while the left path was of course the same as always, bland and grey with no certainty of an end. The Heart smiled brightly seeing how different the right path was but it only gave the Brain a foul feeling. The brain looked at the heart and told them, " Listen here Heart, never trust the good that is shown, there is always an even darker side behind." The heart just laughed at the brain's paranoia. "But Brain, have you seen this path? It is full of colors and life and you choose the bland path. I must go, and I will go even if you won't come!" The brain didn't respond, it couldn't change the mind of the Heart.

"I will give you a warning my friend. There is no such thing as a good path, it will betray you, it is all a lie." The Brain was smart, the Heart knew this...but the Heart still believe the good path was the right path! And that was it. The Brain left, frowning because of the Heart's ignorance, walking down the same path it had always known, while The Heart ran the opposite direction with a smile.

The brain waited for their friend at the end of the path, their friend never came. The Brain searched and searched...then found the Heart, lying on the ground with a hole as black as a void in the middle of it. The Brain only stared in disappointment, "I told you, now look at you. You are empty and weak." The Heart tried to protest, "Brain it was such a good path I promise! I didn't think it would get so violent and dark towards the end, I tried to bring back the sun, I tried to water the plants but everything got so much worst!" The Heart was crying and screaming from their pain and angered for failing to keep the path brighten, only sorrow filled their mind and The Brain just watched in anger, then kicked the stupid Heart. "You are not allow to cry, you don't deserve to cry. I warned you, I told you what would happen and you didn't listen. Crying and shouting in anger is only for the weak. You deserve to be alone for your stupidity, Your anger means nothing. All you have left is this void that will torture you for eternity. You shall stay like this forever and you will deal with it. " 

The Heart laid there, abandoned, alone, darkened and empty, a void that will never be filled, the closure will never come. The Brain walked away on the same path it had always taken, never looking back and never to trust the "good" path. 

If only the Heart trusted the Brain, she would had never knew the void had always been there from the start. The Heart would had never know they had always been left behind...that they truly never matter and never was needed. 

Everyone was leaving the Heart and she didn't deserve to cry about it.
