"Uh-huh," said Blue,"although I'm technically a blue mage"
"What a coincidence" Jenna replied.
"Yeah, I'm not sure why. I can't remember" said the boy.
"What even is a blue mage?"
"It's a mage that can, uh, well I read that I can steal other peoples spells, I think"
"How do you do it?" she asked curiously.
"I think I have to coat my sword in their blood, or something"
"Oh"
The pot on top of the stove began to shake.
"That would be the stew," said Blue.
The young mage watched on in amazement as Jenna wolfed down the food.
"Wow," he said,"you must be hungry"
He rooted about in his bag until he pulled out a small round-bottomed bottle with a small amount of blue liquid.
"Shoot, I'm running low. Come on, I need to go see someone." Jenna stopped licking her plate and put on her scarf.
They arrived at a small shop. Dwarfed by the large buildings either side of it, Acid's Alchemy looked very out of place in this part of town. As the pair stepped into the dimly lit shop, a large, grey dog bounded up to them and began to bark. Jenna patted it's head. The dog rolled over on to it's back.
"Bones!" yelled a voice from the back of the room. The dog immediately scampered away into the darkness. Jenna looked up. A man stood before them wearing a stained apron with strange leaves coming out of various pockets that were stitched on to it.
"Acid! It's good to see you again" Blue exclaimed.
"You too," Acid replied "let me guess, a large mana?"
"You read my mind" Acid nodded and stepped back into the gloom. An even bigger dog came over and began to lick Jenna's hands.
"Oh, don't mind Steak. He can probably smell food off of you" said Acid from a small back room. A small, blue flash lit up the room for a second. He returned with a large bottle filled with a blue liquid. "There you go. That will be one gold and two silver."
Blue dropped three coins into Acid's hand. As Blue and Jenna stepped into the light, they held their hands up to the sun to avoid getting blinded. "We're all set for the journey" said Blue.
"Where are we going?" asked Jenna.
"To Swiften"
