"FOUR DAYS!? I've been asleep for that long?!"
"Yes, I'm afraid. Whatever that liquid did to you, the effect was really strong" replied the king.
"But...But.." stuttered Blue.
"Don't worry, Essenta here took good care of you" he nodded towards the servant, who was now dusting a bronze statue.
"Okay, what about my friends?"
"Oh, we were fine" remarked Ty. Blue noticed that he did not have his armor on, just his jacket, shirt, trousers and boots.
"What about you Jenna?" asked Blue. She had abandoned her cutlery and was now trying to cut her food with her daggers.
"Hmm? Ah, yes, King Henryn gave us a room each. Are you alright? I was really worried about you"
"Yeah," answered Blue "I just can't believe I've been asleep for four days"
"Aye lad. So, tell me, how did you end up here?" asked the king.
Blue told him the whole story, from the first encounter at the market, to the journey into the mountains, to the fight with the large skeleton. As he spoke, Blue scanned Henryn's face for any feedback. But the kings placid face did not betray any emotions. Even Ty and Jenna gave their viewpoints. When he had finished speaking, the king simply nodded.
"It seem that you have had quite the ordeal" he said,"and I admire you for all that you have gone through. But tell me this, Blue, did you dream when you were asleep?"
"Um, yes, actually. It was like I was trapped in another persons body. Someone called Aerili."
Suddenly, the sound of breaking china filled the room. The queen, who Blue had forgot was even there, was sitting bolt upright. Her skin was pale and her face was drawn. Henryn rushed over to her and held her shaking hands.
"Lelitra, darling, are you alright?" he said to her, his voice full of worry. She slowly turned her head to face him.
"The boy" she finally whispered. King Henryn motioned for Blue to come over. The queen put her hands on his face and looked deep into his deep blue eyes.
"Aerili of the Winds, daughter of Torna. You are her descendant. You must go see the Dryad, to whom she spoke with, centuries ago" she uttered mysteriously. Blue took a step back as the queens eyes panned upwards and she collapsed from her chair.
"Someone help!" called the king. Several footmen entered the room, picked up the queen and carried her out the door. Henryn sighed.
"This is the second time time that this has happened" he said.
"This has happened before?" asked Ty.
"Once, just before the Dark Eclipse occurred. She awoke the night before screaming about "a returning darkness". She fell back to sleep immediately afterwards. When I questioned Lelitra, she could remember nothing about the incident"
"Who is this "Dryad" she told me to speak with?" questioned Blue.
"The Dryad is said to be the mother of all plants. She resides in a cave in the Eastern Forest called The Dryads Hollow."
"How can I get there?"
"Don't worry. I'll arrange a carriage for tomorrow. Now you go and relax, you've been through a lot"
