"My father said that he would be in the Great Hall" explained Marianna, "but when I left he was fine. I came to this weapons store to grab something to arm myself when I heard him yelling for help"
She looked at the trio. Somehow she thought they were not going to make much of a difference. They came to a locked door which was blocking off the hallway."Do you think we should look for a key?" asked Blue.
"No time" replied Marianna,"Stand back"
The three took a step back. The egotistical princess gripped the warhammer and swung with all her might, The door burst open, sending splinters flying. Behind it was a vast hall. Large, golden chandeliers hung from its vaulted ceiling. However, the large table that took up most of the room was smashed in half. Standing at the far end of the room, tied up in chains, was the king. The gems sewn onto his ornate clothes glinted in the light. His golden crown lay on the floor beside him, just out of reach. He had black hair with matching muttonchops. When he spotted his daughter his eyes widened in fear.
"MARI!!" he bellowed at the top of his lungs,"DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!!!"
Disregarding his orders, she began to sprint towards him. Suddenly, a voice echoed throughout the hall.
"I would listen to him if I were you, little girl" it said.
In a flash of purple light, a man appeared before him. He wore brown, dirty robes. In his hand, he clutched a tall, black staff. Between the two spiked prongs at the top floated a grinning skill. But the most startling feature about him was his eyes. They were milky white and unblinking. Several cracks in the skin surrounded them. He smirked at Marianna.
"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" she screamed at him.
"Me?" he asked with mock ignorance," Why, I'm Zandor of course. And right now, I'm the very person you don't want to be seeing"
