"Swiften? Never heard of it," said Jenna
"I don't blame you," replied Blue "the town was destroyed years ago."
"How?" Blue did not answer. He seemed distant, as if trying to remember something. He snapped back to reality.
"Alright, we split and get prepared for the journey. Meet me in the Royal Center when your ready. I'll see about buying a couple of things for you"
Jenna spent the next hour packing a small leather bag with some of the remaining food and the knife. She paused and stared at it. To think that earlier on she could have been killed by this very dagger. There was a knock on the door.
Blue stepped in and placed a small pile of clothes on her bed. "You should probably get changed into these. Your current clothes are a bit.. uh... shabby"
Jenna nodded and Blue closed the door. She pulled on a pair of black, knee-high trousers. She put on a grey under-shirts and a black cardigan. She picked up four long pieces of fabric and looked at them confusedly."Those are for wrapping around your forearms and your shins," called Blue from outside the shack.
Jenna wondered about Blue's strange sense of intuition as she put on the wrappings. She buckled her new leather belt and attached the two dagger sheaths to it. She slid the Elvish knife into one and stepped out the door. She met Blue in the Royal Center.
"You might want this," he said, giving her a second knife. "You know how to ride a horse, right?" he asked.
"Sort of," replied Jenna.
The pair bought two horses. A white one for Blue, and a chestnut one for Jenna. After a bit of practice she got the hang of horse riding.
"All set?" asked Blue. She nodded. "Then let's go!"
