The trio slowly began to be lowered into the dwarven city. Jenna gasped. It was amazing. The buildings were cut into the rock face. She could see houses, taverns and many other different types of buildings that belonged to carpenters, builders and blacksmiths. Bronze walkways were suspended from the ceiling. On the ground she could see some dwarves piloting large steam-powered machines with large wheels. Most dwarves were on foot. As the large platform descended, the noise got louder. She could just about hear Blues voice calling out between the sound of dwarves voices, clanking metal and the hiss of steam.
"Jenna! Come on!" she heard Blue say. He was climbing into one of the wheeled machines. She and Ty followed suit.
"Take us to the Engineers Guild" he said to the pilot. He slipped some coins into the dwarves hand and the machine roared into life.
"This place is called Ironhollow. Brilliant, don't you think?" asked Blue. Jenna nodded.
Half an hour later they arrived at the guild hall. It was large and had several chimneys rising from it, spewing out steam. Jenna, Ty and Blue disembarked from the mechanical transport machine and stepped through the large steel doors.
"I'll do the talking" said Blue.
Blue walked up to a solitary dwarf receptionist sitting at a desk. He flashed her a suave smile
"Good day m'lady," he said to her, "I'm here to return these schematics that I came across on my travels"
He handed them to the receptionist. She quickly read through them, then she handed them back.
"These look like they belong to Dacks. He's on the bottom floor. Just be careful, he tends to be a bit, well, you'll know when you meet him" she replied.
Blue thanked her and walked across the room towards another platform. Jenna and Ty hurried over. Rather than a lever, there was a small panel in the middle of the platform. There were small levers on it, each bearing a number. Blue flicked "Lever No. 58". He turned to his companions.
"You better be patient, this may take a while" he said.
Ty just grumbled.
