"This way!" whispered Jenna, as she led Blue and Ty down a dark alleyway. Blue paused for breath.
"Wh... Where are you taking us?" he asked, gulping down the air.
"I'm taking you to The Palace, like you wanted me to" replied Jenna.
He pointed behind him. "The Palace is that way!"
She gave him a sly smile. "Not the way that I'm going!"
They continued to dash through back streets and alleyways, avoiding hordes of the undead. Of the skeletons that they did meet, they turned into a pile of bones with in seconds. At last the three stopped at an old, wooden ladder leading up the side of a building. Jenna began to climb. Ty raised his eyebrow and looked at Blue for an answer. He simply shrugged and climbed up after her.
When they reached the top of the building, Blue pointed towards a large castle in the center of The City. It was made of stone and was surrounded by four stone towers. The towers connected to the castle with walkways branching out from the third floor.
"There it is" said Blue, "but how are we supposed to get to it?"
"Like this" replied Jenna. She dashed to the edge of the roof. Upon reaching it, she leapt onto the next flat roof. Ty's mouth dropped open.
"How long have you been doing this!?" he called to her.
"Since I was seven years old!" she yelled.
"Can you believe this?" he said while turning to face Blue, only to find him missing.
"Come on, Ty!" the young mage called from the next roof.
"Am I the only sane person around here?" he asked himself.
