"So, uh, do you feel anything?" asked Jenna hesitantly.
"Not really, I just-" began Blue.
Suddenly, there was an explosion of colour and light, ethereal music filled his ears. His vision began to warp just as he saw long strands of blue energy leap from the swords blade to the jewel in it's hilt and up to Blues eyes. Everything went dark as strange, golden runes passed in front of his eyes. Through the darkness, he saw a small window. It came closer and closer, until he could see through it. He appeared to be looking through someones eyes.
Beside him, or the person he was looking through, were other people. To his left was a young dwarf in a brown jacket. He looked as if he had shaved his beard off. To his right was an aquin, a fish person from the ocean up north. Judging by how her fins curved, Blue assumed she was a female. Further on to the right was a creature that Blue had never seen before. It had red skin and a horned head. It walked upright and had two, leathery wings on its back. One of the wings looked as if it was badly burned. They were walking through a cave. It began to get darker and darker. The dwarf beside him spoke.
"Hey Aerili, could light the place up, please?" he asked.
"Sure" came the reply. This "Aerili", who eyes were being looked through by Blue, raised her hand. Her skin was unusually pale. A ball of white light appeared in it. She threw it up into the air, where it floated and began to follow them.
"Thanks" said the dwarf.
"Anytime, Dent" replied Aerili.
The window closed suddenly. Blue was enveloped in darkness once again. Suddenly, bright runes appeared in front of him. His eyes began to burn. He attempted to look away but some unseen force was keeping his head in place. He began to scream and blinked. When he opened his eyes, he was back in the Great Hall. A pink afterimage of the runes floated in front of him. Jenna and Ty were staring at him.
"Are you alright?" asked Jenna. Blue nodded dreamily.
"Are you sure? You don't look too good" asked Ty. Blue nodded again as he began to get lightheaded.
And suddenly the ground rushed up to his eyes. Then, nothing.
