On Friday, Perrie decided to take Leigh out.

"I was just thinking of coming here you know Perrie. And by that I mean I was thinking of coming here earlier this week like on Monday but now look. You've brought me here as a surprise instead of me bringing you here as a surprise! Great minds think alike." Leigh nudged Perrie playfully as she sat next to her for this outing.

Jungkook was in front of them. "Wow Leigh-Anne. I didn't know that you knew about this out of this world eatery-"

"Can you please stop calling food places eateries? We're not living in the forties mate. It's a restaurant." Perrie shook her head then pointed a thumb at Jungkook while facing Leigh with a face that said 'get a load of this guy'.

"I actually like it when he says eatery. It's got a nice ring to it. We're at an eatery right now. Hey guys, let's go to the eatery next door." Leigh-Anne was trying to sound proper.

Jungkook grinned. "The eatery opens from twelve to five." He and Leigh-Anne giggled.

Perrie was vexed. "Yeah well it uh . . . let's order why don't we?" The hour was about eight o' clock because that was the time Leigh was able to make it after shooting for The Brit Life. Leigh was to be home by ten. That just meant that Marcy would come pick her up at that hour. Don't know why she doesn't trust me to bring her home but whatever. She picked up the menu to do so.

The waiter came to take their orders and then left to get what they wanted.

Jungkook was staring at the buff guys who had come in with Leigh-Anne. They were sitting two tables down and one of them was staring at them. The other seemed to be scoping out the area for trouble. "Your guards are scary." He faced his friend to say this.

"Are they? I don't think so. They're just serious about their jobs." Leigh-Anne was still experiencing the effects of the tiredness she had been having since the beginning of this week but since she was excited to hang out with Jungkook and Perrie, it had sort of faded to the back. "Don't worry Kook. As long as you're not posing a threat towards me you'll be good."

Jungkook's eyes widened. "And what if I am?"

"Well then . . . that would be another story. Before you worry about them you'd have to answer to me." Leigh acted threatening but it seemed to just make her friends giggle. "Hey I can actually do a lot of damage unfortunately." She shrunk sheepishly.

"We're aware but it's just funny." Perrie squeezed Leigh up to her. "So your birthday was pretty quiet this time around huh? Jade said that your fam found you fast asleep in bed before they could even celebrate."

"Yeah." Leigh sighed. "I've just been a bit exhausted of late and I'm not sure why. Dr. Jung said that I'm really starting to experience some of what comes with being well known and that it's taking a toll on me and I suppose she has a point. And on top of that there's other stuff on my mind but not too much. So-"

"What other stuff?" Jungkook looked right at her.

Leigh-Anne remembered the conversation she had been having with her dad about Jade and Perrie and . . . everything. She glanced at Perrie before shrugging awkwardly.

"Huh?" Perrie felt self-conscious. "Am I like . . . doing something that's draining your mental energy?" She started examining her interactions with Leigh of late but could not pinpoint anything that may be harming the love of her- wait- the young lady. Right.

"No, no Perrie you're perfect. It's just me being insecure-"

"Oh no." Perrie had flashbacks to the rebranding era. "Who f*cked you up this time? Was it Sairah again? What is she saying about me? I'm working on it Leigh. And there's nothing wrong with y-"
