"So she just trashes us and I'm supposed to sit there and take that?" Perrie called the squad over to vent because venting in the D's Angels chat had not been enough.
Jade had just been texting Sairah to ask how her party last night went. It seemed to have gone pretty well. Although I'm not sure how fond I am of this George Jones fella or his middle-eastern friend. Sairah told her that that girl had spent the entire night with her, even when she had gone outside for some air. The girl had brought Sairah water when she asked for it too. Mmm. Maybe Jade was just getting paranoid. No one at the prestigious university of Oxford wanted to steal her girlfriend from her. Right. But she was still uncomfortable.
"That's what your publicist said." Jungkook had Bam on his lap. They were in Perrie's living room. I snuck him in. Had any of his friends noticed his gorgeous pooch? Soon they will. And then the comfort will hit them. Ha. He smiled.
Perrie picked up a ceramic vase and threw it across the room.
"Aye- oh." Ray was going to react to the crash but Perrie's butler caught the item in time. "Thank you Sir. You are very good at your job."
"I've worked for Perrie since she was born. I have to be." He left with a twirl and a skip, elegantly.
"Burn." Princeton laughed before becoming serious. "Yeah but on a real note. The questions were a set up. I wouldn't be surprised if the Fallen Angels team worked with the people over at Deep Dive to make things unfold in the worst way imaginable." He sat back. "And I get the feeling that Elouise chick practiced how she was gonna storm off."
"Nothing they do is original. They copied that from Sairah." Ray Ray grumbled.
The internet had been lit up since Friday. Jada was trending at number one and right behind her was Elouise. People had made countless memes from the interview and Angel fans were pissed. Fallen Angels fans considered the interview a 'call out' session where Elouise finally addressed the 'ableism' issue with D's Angels but not everybody agreed with them.
The general public seemed to believe that Elouise had done all that because of her own deep rooted insecurities and others felt that she was just chasing clout. Some people agreed that Jada had 'thrown shade' when she said she didn't consider Fallen Angels their rivals but Angel fans argued that she was just telling the truth. They believed that D's Angels shouldn't have to acknowledge a group that was boldly copying them if they did not want to. Many agreed but there were always those who found a way to twist words and situations to make them look worse than they were.
Some saw Elouise and the rest of Fallen Angels as people playing the victim card to get sympathy and others actually sympathized with them. The reception to the interview was very mixed but it seemed to have served its purpose. It got people talking.
"Exactly." Perrie sat at her centre table. "Mam should have just ignored them but she didn't care if it was a set up. No. She just wants us to stay relevant. Little minx." Her mother was out right now so she could say what she wanted.
"One thing is certain though. Crying and screaming over what has happened will not change things." Hoseok said from the floor.
Jesy sat in a single seat. "Look at you playing the part of mature-"
"We need to handle this with a diss track. I'll call up my boy Agust. We can call this one Copy Cat." Hoseok held his phone in hand already.
"Diss track. I like it." Perrie just couldn't stay silent on this. The D's Angels team and Perrie's personal team believed that the best way to deal with this was to remain silent but Perrie found that stupid. How did the hate train eventually end? Me. It was me getting online and giving people a piece of my mind. That's how you take care of shit like this. Fight fire with facts. And boy did she have some hot facts to drop on everyone. "Hoseok when you write your track make sure you get all these points okay?" She rubbed her hands together. "Say that they can't blatantly copy someone and expect validation, those expectations will cause infuriation. Uh!"
