"Hi." Leigh said brightly.
"Oh you're done bonding with your soon to be TV girlfriend?" Rachel teased.
"Yeah. Things got a bit emotional though." Leigh sniffed. "When we get home I'm calling Marcy."
"I'm sure she'll appreciate that but I think you should talk to your friends too. If you're not too tired." Rachel walked her off the set.
Leigh said goodbye to everyone as they left together. It was dark out. "Is everything okay? Do you know something Rachel?" She had just been missing everyone. It would hurt her to know that her friends had somehow been suffering.
Rachel led her to a sidewalk to find where she parked the car. No paparazzi in sight. Good. From what Leigh said, they would mainly hide from afar to take her pictures anyway. That's how they are in America but for some reason the UK's different. "I just saw some stuff online. The kids who leaked the pictures of your neighbourhood went back to school today and your friends beat one of them up. It was obviously caught on video and posted online so people have been talking." She shook her head. "It never ends."
Leigh-Anne was surprised. "They beat one of them?" She did not know what she would do if she ever encountered the ones behind that. Would she go into a blinding rage and throw punches or run off crying?
"Seems so. You should get in touch with them." Rachel saw her car and opened it using her keys.
Leigh got into the passenger seat and put on her seatbelt. "Oh boy." She inhaled deeply as she got out her phone.
"If you're too tired to deal with the drama you don't have to. We can just have a quiet drive with some music and you can take a nap like you sometimes do. And when we get home, I'll make you some tea and we'll have some dinner before you call Marcy and head to bed." Rachel revved the engine.
"No I should check on them." Leigh-Anne saw messages from her group chat with her friends.
"Okay. But try not to stress yourself out too much. You've got a lot coming up soon with promotions for your movie starting on Thursday." Rachel drove out of her parking spot.
"Right." Leigh was reading.
Jade: It could have been worse I guess

Leigh read it. It was a meme saying 'me when I saw Jungkook and Ray Ray beat the piss out of the kid who released those photos'. Under it was a picture of a man nodding and saying 'That's right. They did the Lord's work'. Wow.

Ray: I don't really regret what I did but at the same time I'm embarrassed that it happened in front of people
Jesy: Not embarrassed that you got charged with a misdemeanor?
