Perrie was on her back in bed that night after her movie date with Jewel. The girl had given her several numbers of attractive girls and young women that she knew from her friendship group, gym and basketball team. She had over twenty new contacts and did not know where to start. Jewel had even let her facetime a couple and boy were these girls chill. She had not known that people like that existed.
"Perrie I think you shook the whole internet. How can you not care?" Jada was laughing at her phone screen from her air mattress. "My brothers said people are making videos about why they were always against the hate train. They're so two-faced." She was giggling with Krisha.
"Don't care." Perrie said blandly.
Leigh-Anne sat next to her with legs crossed. She and Anika had returned from set around seven. Craig told her all about Perrie's Instagram post and what it brought on. Apparently people were backing off the hate train now? Anika said that Perrie took away their power by allowing them to make fun of her and implying that they were all very aware of the hate. The blonde's harsh words and straight forward delivery earned her the label of 'real' and 'badass' to many who previously viewed them as 'pussies'. Just an hour after Perrie posted, hundreds of D's Angels troll accounts had been deleted. Many started behaving as if they were never part of it and fans were exposing people left and right. Angel fans rejoiced when Angeline had tweeted the viral tweet 'did I miss the train?' while things were dying down. It was safe to say that for now, the trend of hating D's Angels had been put to rest. There were still haters but most of them had migrated to the fandom of 'Fallen Angels' who had just released an exclusive interview to introduce their members.
"Who will you date next Perrie?" Leigh-Anne asked. A puppy video played out on her phone. Her faint feeling had passed while working on set. She still had a poor appetite though. She hoped it would return soon because she needed the nutrition to keep in shape.
Perrie blew a raspberry. "I guess I'll try Jewel's bestie Fantasia? We leave England on Sunday so I can invite her for some dinner tomorrow or Saturday. Jewel was pretty cool though. And I'm glad that all of her girls are on board for letting me date them. She only gave me the numbers for her single friends. She knows a lot of people in happy relationships." She sat up to show Leigh-Anne a picture. "Do you think she's pretty Lee-Lee?"
"That's Fantasia?" Leigh was staring at a gorgeous black girl with locked hair down to her bottom. She was showing off some packs in this picture. "She's beautiful." She felt her own hair. "Do you have a preference?"
"I like a cool gal I guess." Perrie said absently.
I'm not cool. "Why?"
"I don't know. I'm shallow? I just like someone who's hot and fun to talk to. Jewel was fun to talk to and she had fun with me. We video chatted Fantasia and she had the same vibes. Girls like that is what I'm looking for right now." Perrie seemed tired.
Leigh-Anne observed the pictures as Perrie swiped through them. "What about someone who fulfills your emotional needs?"
Anika came out of the bathroom and sat with Jada and Krisha in the air mattress. She was trying to see what had them laughing so much.
"That too. If I even have emotional needs." Perrie fixed her pillow then used it as a backrest on the head board. "Would you say I'm emotional?"
Leigh did the same to her pillow and sat back. "You're not mentally sound right now so you need someone who can say the right things if you ever have an episode. Wouldn't you be upset if you were having a crisis and instead of helping your significant other just left you?" She pressed the power button on her cell.
"Hmm . . . but how would I know if someone would leave me during a crisis? Ask them if they're a dick?" Perrie snorted. "No one would own up to that." She set her phone on her lap after the screen went blank. "But I suppose that for a lot of people they're just looking for something casual. Is that what I want? It is isn't it? But if things end up serious then I'll just go with the flow." A rush went down her spine. "Damn I've never been in a serious relationship." She faced Leigh-Anne. "Unless I'm counting you but we've just been besties and friends with benefits. Heh heh."
