The game con was nothing short of colourful to Jesy.

Jade had not known what to say when Joe said he was bringing Jesy along. She would have put up a fight but these days were too exhausting. She and Sairah were on the move a lot across England for interviews, meet and greets and had done a few photoshoots for a gamer's magazine. They even did interviews online for other European countries. The Americans wanted them over there in person. I'm not in the mood for a trip to New York but I have no say. They were following a guard to the waiting room to rest before they had the question and answer session in the auditorium.

"Jade and Sairah!" Fans spotted them and whipped out their phones.

Sairah waved weakly. They would sign things later. Her hand was in Jade's.

"Do they have a kid?" someone asked referring to Joe.

Joe blushed. He had been to a lot of places they had gone to since school was unwinding. It was fun to tag along and experience VIP treatment.

Jade smiled at someone wearing a Blaze costume. Others wore costumes of the monsters and most wore Dee's hoodie. She found it cute when they dressed up. There's always an up side. Joe had explained that Jesy was taking medicine and had become very stable. She helped around the house, spent time with him and hardly complained. Jade still wasn't ready to accept this as the new Jesy but would observe from far nonetheless. Mainly for Joe's sake. For his sake I also hope she doesn't let him down. Medicine could be powerful but for someone to change, they also needed to put their own work in.

They got to the room and met Chris Drew.

"Girls! My favourite girls." He hugged Jade and Sairah then high-fived Joe. "What's up little man?"

"I'm alright." Joe was out here rubbing elbows with Chris Drew! His friends were so jealous. Everyone's jealous. He knew a lot of famous people. Perrie and Leigh-Anne being the biggest names. He sometimes did not know how to react to the attention he received for being so close. "This is my sister. She's not feeling well but she liked the game so I brought her out."

"Love that energy." Chris raised a hand for her.

"Her name is Jesy." Joe said as they high-fived.

Jesy hoped he did not know of her. "Pleasure to meet you. I've heard a lot."

Chris laughed. "All good things?"

"You're American." Jesy said uselessly.

Chris scratched his head. "I-is that supposed to be an insult?"

Sairah and Jade had settled in front of the mirrors. Someone offered them snacks. Sairah accepted a packet of Skittles but Jade didn't take anything.

"Take it how you want." Jesy got offered snacks next. "Oh thanks." She picked up a chocolate bar. "Mmm I'm already on medicine." She looked at her brother. "Think eating fattening foods will make it suddenly do a three-sixty?"

"Of course not. You can eat whatever you want." Joe picked up a chocolate bar.

Jesy opened hers after sighing then walked towards the leather couch. Other people were around wearing VIP passes on their necks.

"Here." A woman gave her and Joe theirs. She was the one who offered the snacks. She picked up a remote on the snack table and used it to turn on the flatscreen.

Jesy could see the happenings of outside. "Is this surveillance?"

"Something like that." The lady left.

Jesy bit her candy and chewed.

Joe was on his phone. "There's free Wi-Fi." He informed.

That didn't mean much to Jesy. She had no social media. There's YouTube. The one she used was her mother's as hers was deleted. YouTube videos did not interest her right now.
