“I’m scared of them. I’m sorry Mr. Ambrose. I didn’t mean to bother you.” I whispered. I glanced up and saw that he was exhausted. He leaned into his desk, placing his head into his hands.
“Harrison, I didn’t mean to get mad at you. Please don’t call me Mister. I want us to be friends. So just Ambrose is fine. If you need anything, tell me.” He told me.I nodded slightly. Even though I knew I would still call him Mr. Ambrose. He dismissed me for the time being. So I made my way out of the office door.
Key was waiting outside the door. “Hey.” He said. I jumped slightly from him startling me. I looked at him for a minute. Key smiled kindly,
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you. But are you okay? You have a split lip and a nasty bruise around your eye.” He said in concern. I looked at my feet quickly, panicking.
I rushed to my room. Key was following close behind. “I just wanted to know if you’re okay. At least, let me take care of your injuries!” Key said.
I shook my head, closing my door in his face. I leaned into the door silently crying. I wanted to leave now. I changed into a clean white shirt and some short shorts. I went and laid down on the bed.
