My lip hurts from biting it in my sleep. I felt the dried blood on my shirt. I quickly pulled up the camera on my phone. My lip was swollen.
I had dried blood caked onto my chin and neck. My eyes were red and swollen. I started to cry again. The desperation sunk into my skin.
"I need to go home. I need Nana to come back. I need Nana to block out the pain. Nana, please take me home. I understand that I am worthless! Please please please Nana." I didn't even know that I cried that out loud. I was pulling on my hair crying.
Liam rushed into my room. He quickly settled onto my bed, sitting beside me. He pulled me on top of him, wordlessly. I didn't fight him. Liam laid us back. But it only made it worse.
Everyone crowded outside my room. "Liam?" Ambrose asked. Liam looked at him while petting my head. "I have it. He's okay now." Liam said. I gripped his shirt tightly. Ambrose made everyone leave.
Liam looked back at me. "What's wrong, Harrison? Tell me so I can help you." Liam said. I looked away from him. "I want Nana. I need to go home. I can't see them! I can't see the holograms!" I cried. Liam studied my face slowly. "What holograms? Why do you want to go back to your Nana?" He said.
I nuzzled my face into his chest, unconsciously. He didn't say anything, instead he hugged me tighter. "I-I can see holograms in the shape of butterflies. They are personal profiles on a person. But I can't see them on you or the others. It scares me." I whispered.
