I slowly removed my shirt. I didn’t look at him or my chest. He sucked in a sharp breath. “I’ll be right back.” He said. My hand shot out to grab his arm.
“Please don’t tell. Please, I don’t want to trouble anyone. They don’t hurt me. I don’t feel them.” I whispered pleadingly. In reality my whole body hurts from the bruises littering my body. Liam raised an eyebrow sensing my lie.
“I’m going to get a first aid kit. I’m only going to treat your bruises. Hopefully you don’t have any broken ribs.” Liam said. I let go of his arm and folded my hands in my lap.

“You all know that if you are hurt that you’re supposed to come to me. How dare you try to hide this from me.” Key scolded Liam.
“Harrison, you haven’t broken any bones. Let’s wrap this area. It has a small infected cut and bruises.” Key said. I shivered as Key ruffled my hair.
He tightly wrapped my chest after applying some type of medicine to the cut and bruises. Key hugged me gently. “You’re safe now, Harrison.” Key said softly. I hugged him back. I felt like he would never hurt me. I took comfort from him.
Key smiled softly with pride. “Are you hungry? Key made some triple chocolate muffins this morning. He makes the best pastries.” Liam said
