I didn’t know what to say. Dad took me to my room. Mom stood beside him. “Harrison, who are you dating in this household?” Dad asked. I fiddled with my fingers, chewing on my lower lip.
I stared intently at my hands. “Everyone. I am with all of them.” I said. Dad glared at me with his anger spiking. “No. You are only 17 years old. They are all adults. You are a minor.” Dad snapped.
I flinched and scooted back a bit. I looked up and met his blazing eyes. “But dad, I love them. They make me happy. Please don’t, I love them. They love me too. They would never hurt me.” I said. Dad growled lowly and studied me.
“They are adults! You’re 17 years old and they are adults. This is a crime. Besides, Ambrose is all of y'all's guardians. I should report this to the police. All of them will be charged with dating a minor.” He said. I felt tears building up in my eyes.
I took a look at mom for help. But I could see she agrees with dad. I got up and walked out of the house. I ignored Mom yells and the boys shouts. I quickly ran to Miss Freya’s house. She took me in.
It had started raining once I had left the house. I was soaking wet. She dried me off then found some clothes for me. We sat in the living room. I had my head in her lap as she stroked my head. I allowed the tears to fall from my eyes. Miss Freya listened to me cry about what happened.
