I looked over at the others. Keith had horns and a thick tail. Ambrose was growling, Liam had fangs and his pupils were just slits, Corey had claws and sharp teeth with wings. Cydall was beside Key and me.

“He has tears all around his sphincter. I can't treat them here.” Key told Cydall. Cydall gently picked me up. The others were having a hay day beating Mr. Laker.

Cydall carried me to the car. I nuzzled my cheek against his neck. I let out a soft purr of contentment. Cydall looked at Key confused. Key was studying me.

“I’ll find out later. Liam will have a bloodlust by the time they get done. Let’s hope this doesn’t go wrong.” Key said. I closed my eyes, welcoming sleep.

Key stayed by my side applying medicine when needed. I had nightmares every time I would close my eyes. I was sitting up, crying into my knees. I just want to sleep the night away.

When silence and darkness crowds me, the bad thoughts pace in my head. My door opened and closed quickly. I looked up to see Cydall. “I’m sorry for intruding. I heard you crying as I walked past your room. Do you want to talk about it? I’m all ears if you do.” He said gently.

I shook my head at him. Cydall walked over to my bedside. “Are you in pain? Do you want me to get Key?” He asked. I shook my head again and hugged my knees. He sat down next to me. Cydall pulled me into his arms.

I sniffled softly, taking comfort in the form of his arms. “Tell me what’s wrong.” He said. Cydall made us lay down. He was behind me with his arm around my waist.
