I put on my jacket and zipped it all the way up. I managed to escape the crowd. I sat on the swingset in the park nearby. I felt the tears fall from my eyes.

Sirens went off all around me. I stilled when a person walked up to me. “Are you alright? You are the ‘prey’ right? Harrison?” She asked.

I sighed softly, swinging slowly. I stared at my feet. “I’m not running again. I only do one run a night. Please go back to the group.” I said quietly. She huffed pulling something out of her pocket. I leapt away from her.

I stared at her waiting for her to do something. “Calm down, Harrison. I’m an undercover cop. We are arresting all the people who participated in the hunt. I’m here to take you back to Ambrose’s care.” She said.

I allowed the tears to continue to fall fast. Ambrose ran up to me. He pulled me into his arms. I winced as he picked me up. I wrapped my arms around his neck. “Am I really allowed to stay with you all?” I asked. Ambrose nodded, hugging me tightly.

I wrapped around him like a kola. I pressed my head against his collarbone. He took me back to the house. Key absolutely tackled me once I touched the floor. I yelped from the shock and the pain that erupted in my back.

“I missed you too, Key. I’m sorry for leaving and not telling you anything.” I said. Key kissed me deeply, hugging me. I chuckled when he shoved me. “I was worried sick. Especially when I heard that you were doing those runs again.” Key said.
