She just allowed me to sleep on her lap. My phone was blowing up with text messages and missed calls. I stared at my phone. I was still at Miss Freya's house.

She had left and went to the library. I had asked her to pretend not to know where I was. I told her I won't be here by the time she came back home.

I quickly changed my clothes and walked out of the house. I flipped up the hood of the jacket. I kept my head down as I sped walked to the bank. I had forgotten that I gave Ambrose my bank account information.

He had frozen it. I couldn't withdraw anything until he unfreezes my account. I rushed out when the cop on duty went to call somebody. I had to find somewhere to stay. That's how I found myself at Nana's house.

I gently knocked on the door. Nana opened the door with disgust. I lowered my head in respect. "Good Afternoon, Nana. I wonder if I may stay for a while, Ma'am. I hope I'm not disturbing your evening." I said calmly.

Nana looked me up and down slowly. I stood absolutely motionless. "You have grown a bit and a little chubby. I guess you can stay as long as you earn your keep." Nana rasped. I gave a short nod. I walked into the house.

I earned my keep alright. I played the little game Nana made. I lost a lot of weight. When I walked around in the streets, I heard the rumors of my wins.

I got more people paying Nana to join the hunt. She returned to how she used to treat me. One night, I guess the rumors had reached Ambrose.
