After I left Gene's the night I kissed him, I walked around Manhattan for awhile trying to figure out why I had done that. I mentally cursed myself for being an idiot. "Paul! You don't like Gene like that!"
I finally convinced myself to go back and apologize. Heading back to his place, I let myself in and headed to his room. I didn't even get a chance to knock before he pulled me in and tossed me on the bed.
"Gene!" I managed to get out before his lips crashed onto mine.
He proceeded to work me up quite a bit before he laid down beside me and started apologizing. I couldn't say anything so I just started to leave. "Paul, please stay."
Moving to the couch, I pulled myself together and waited for Gene to do the same. "I came back to apologize."
"I'm sorry Paul. I guess overstepped my boundaries of friendship too much."
We finally managed to talk out our feelings. I was very shocked to say the least. I had no idea Gene liked me like that. I thought he was in love with Eric. This led me to leave again in shock but this time I knew where we stood.
