Paul here. When I made a deal with Gene to set up his dinner date, I also was promised something. Gene promised to get T to meet me at a specific time and place or he had to admit to Eric that it was my idea.

Of course, Eric already knows because he asked me first.

A few days later I receive a phone call from T asking if we still needed to meet because he had another meeting later that day. "Why don't we move ours to later if you need to." I reply.

"I-I-I really can't change plans. If it can wait that would be better." he practically whispers.

Alarm bells go off in my head immediately. "Tell you what. If you can come to the studio in two hours, I'll be there."

"Yes sir, Mr. Stanley. I can do that." He quickly hangs up so I go into speed mode.

By the time he pulls up in the parking lot I have managed to bring an entire lunch for the both of us along with dessert. I hope he likes chocolate.

T rushes in and takes a seat in his office. "I'm sorry I'm late, please don't dock my pay."

"I'm not. I just wanted you to eat lunch with me in a more relaxed atmosphere. I admit I planned this to spend time with you....alone."

He looks at me in fear before looking down. "You want to be alone with me? Why?"

It's my turn to stare. "You really haven't caught on that I like you....a lot?"

"N-n-no." "I'm just a road manager."

I proceed to let him know he's more than just a road manager to me. After letting him absorb that information, I offer him lunch and dessert.

We eat in awkward silence until he suddenly hands me a note. "Please read it later." he says as he leaves. "Thank you. I enjoyed today." "I love you." he whispers as he runs out the door.

"Wait! What!" I call after him.

Opening the note, I read. (Note as follows).

I LOVE YOU. PLEASE DON'T SHOW THIS TO ANYONE. I THINK YOU'RE HANDSOME AND KIND. I WOULD LIKE TO GO OUT WITH YOU BUT I CAN'T BE SEEN.

                                                                                YOURS TRULY, T.

I re-read it several times before carefully placing it in my back pocket to take home. Dear me, I can't show this to anybody else because I don't want to create trouble.
