I finally got Tommy to agree to go out with me to a nice restaurant. I tell him the time and head back to my place to get ready. At six I call to let him know I'm on the way.
As we talk, I hear fear in his voice. "It will be okay, I promise. I'm on the way."
Arriving at the studio apartment, I head upstairs and knock on the door. It's partially open so I go inside. "Tom, I'm here. Are you ready?"
"Yes, I guess." he said quietly. "I've never been on a date so I'm nervous." he admitted. "I would feel much more comfortable if we could just stay here."
"If you feel overwhelmed when we're out, I'll bring you home, okay?"
He nods in agreement and we head out. I must admit, I thought about dressing up as a girl, but I don't think Tom's ready for that yet.
We arrive at the restaurant and I escort him inside. We're seated at a corner table behind some potted plants so it's a bit more private. I think that helps ease Tommy's apprehension a bit.
The night passes smoothly which is a good sign. After dinner, I drive around a bit while we talk and just hang out.
A chaste kiss ends the night before I head home.
