A Love Triangle?

As I'm finishing changing into street clothes and packing up my make-up kit, the dressing room door opens and Tommy walks in. Even though he's still wearing stage make-up, I can tell his cheeks are flushed. To my surprise, he walks immediately over to Eric and puts his arms around him. What the hell?

Trying to be subtle, I pretend to be busy with my final touches before leaving. The two are still hugging and talking. Finally I clear my throat and cause Tommy to jump. "If you're not discussing band business or the concert, please break apart and get ready to go back to the hotel." "You WILL NOT make a move on Eric! Got it!?"

Eric's eyes flash as Tommy turns and runs out the door. "WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM???!!!!" yells Eric. "Really, Gene? Tom's upset about something that happened in the concert and you gotta act like a dick?!" 

I say nothing as he storms off to the shower and slams the door shut. I can hear Paul coming down the hall so I just wait with my arms folded across my chest. He slaps me across the face and walks off. Wow, I guess I messed up.

Eric doesn't speak to me at all on the way back to the hotel. I finally open my mouth to apologize but get cut off by a hand in my face.

Through his teeth, Eric informs me I need to apologize to Tommy and Paul not him.

"The only thing I'm saying to you is this. I'm not interested in Tom like that. I LOVE YOU!!!!"

Being properly chastised by now, I mumble out an apology and call Paul. He promptly cusses me out and hangs up.

At the hotel, I see Tommy in the lobby so I hurry over and apologize. He just stares at me and says nothing. As I start to walk away, he starts crying and turns towards the wall. "Tom, hey, what's wrong?"

He says nothing and continues to cry. Finally Paul comes down to get Tommy. "What happened?" he asks me.

"I came over to apologize and he started crying. I don't know what happened in the concert but he's visibly upset. Take him to the room and Eric and I will be there shortly." "Paul, I'm sorry for being a jealous ass."

"Gene, this happens with every line-up change." "It better be the last time."

Eric and I follow Paul and Tommy to their room and we all go in.

Paul manages to get Tommy into bed and takes his shoes off. "Come on, baby. Talk to us."

Our youngest member just cried himself to sleep. We would all soon find out that some of our fans absolutely hate Tommy and would forever give him grief.
