***it was friday. the day of the party everyone was talking about the past week.
you were in your room, finishing up on your outfit in the mirror. music played from your phone.
connie was in the living room, he was dressed already surprisingly. you took longer because really, you wanted to impress. this party was a chance to find someone to help you get over armin.
"y/n! how much longer are you going to take?!" connie yelled.
"i'm almost done!" you yelled back.
stepping away from the mirror, you took one last look at yourself before grabbing your bag and throwing stuff into it.
you walked into the living room, connie looking you up and down.
"well, at least all that time was worth it."
"do i look good?" you asked.
"of course! people are going to be turning their heads all the way around to see you." connie glanced at his phone, "anyways, we need to go!"
"what time is it?"
"6:30!"
**
"so, you and annie?" connie asked, nudging you with a sly smirk on his face.
"it's not like that, she's just really pretty." you said, looking down at your hands.
"mhm. that's what you say all the time."
the door of annie's house opened, and she walked
out wearing a short black dress, one with lace at the top and showed off her figure perfectly. her hair styled at her shoulders, with that same lip gloss she always wore."you look good annie!" you yelled out the window as she got closer to the car.
"thank you, i spent a lot of time looking for this dress." she looked at you, "you look good too, y/n." she looked away, that pink blush on her cheeks again.
"hi annie." connie waved from the drivers seat.
she waved, and connie gave you a sly look.
annie got in the backseat, connie beginning to drive.
"this party is going to be the best one, i know it already." he said, looking at you with excitement in his eyes.
**
music blared from inside the house and colorful lights were flashing through the windows.
people were still arriving, greeting others at the door.
connie clapped his hands together, "i'm so ready,"
annie leaned forward, "looks like there's at least 150 people in there."
"and people are still going in." you added on, unbuckling your seatbelt.
"so let's go in too!" connie got out of the car slamming the door shut behind him, leaving you and annie in the car.
"remember what i told you." she said before getting out.
you quickly followed her out, nodding at the person at the door as you went inside.
the music only got louder, the air was already stuffy and smelled of alcohol.
annie was besides you, looking around. "connie's already gone!" she had to yell over the music, and even then you could barely hear her.
