"y/n!!! you finally called me, changed your mind about me?"

"no, floch. i have a question."

"about?"

"armin."

you could basically hear his sly smile.

"you used to be friends with armin right? a while back?"

he scoffed, "yeah! we used to be close. until we had an argument over something....i think it was over someone. don't really remember."

"did he ever tell you about the people he was talking to or dating?"

"all the time."

"another question...let's say, hypothetically i was going to start...dating armin. do you think he had good or bad intentions?"

"oh yeah, he's definitely going to use you."

oh.

"you don't think think he would actually like
me? what would he use me for?"

"eh, to keep himself from getting bored."

you didn't think much about it at first, it was floch. he hated armin, he could be trying to set him up. maybe even trying to win you back.

"and you're telling the truth?" you asked.

"yeah! plus, don't you know armin by now? honestly, if you start dating him you're just putting yourself in a certain position." he sighed, "don't say yes y/n, you will regret it. i don't
want to see you sad."

you were chewing on your bottom lip, thoughts racing back in forth in your head. "okay...thank you, floch."

"of course, call me if you need anything."

you hung up, throwing your phone back on the bed.

floch must be stupid if he thinks you believe him.

you asked him in the first place to see his input, thinking he would tell you the truth. but he did exactly what you expected him to do. lie.

you were still conflicted on armin though, you would need to connie about this. but, who
would tell you the truth without telling armin?

the door to the guest room opened, and connie was standing there. "you're still here, i thought you left me."

you shook your head, "nope, was just waiting for you to wake up."

he collapsed onto the bed, "did you have fun? i did! me and sasha had so much fun after, we played this game that was like supposed to be scary but it really wasn't, you should play with us next time!"

"oh so that's what all that screaming was?"

connie shrugged, "okay it was just a little scary." he sat back up, "are you ready to go home?"

sasha's house was nice, comforting. you could stay for longer, but you had to go to work the next day.

"yeah, i'll get my stuff together."

connie nodded, and head out the room shutting the door behind him.

what were you going to do? you liked armin, so much. but there were so many things about him you were confused on.

armin was confused too. he was sure you liked him at least a bit. what do you mean by 'thinking?' he couldn't stop thinking about you and what you said. he needed a distraction. that's what jean said, at least.

"you can't keep thinking about this armin. go out and do something." jean said, patting armin's shoulder.

how could he stop thinking about you?

another knock on the door interrupted you and your thoughts. it was mikasa this time.

"hey, y/n." she said, not making eye contact with you.

"mikasa! hey, are you looking for something?"

"um, no. sasha told me you were in here, and i just wanted to let you know that i actually don't have anything against you. at least, not anymore. i just wanted to clarify that with you, personally."

you nodded, "thank you, i'm also sorry if i made you feel some type of way back then and-"

"don't worry about y/n, we can be friends."

a smile came across your face, "yeah, friends."

"you can ask me about anything...well, armin, if you need it."

"yeah, i'll definitely need that."

she laughed a bit then walked out the room.

"i'll see you!" you called out.

"y/n! are you getting ready?" connie's voice called from the hallway.

"yeah, yeah!"
