"Welcome to my home, Wangji," Baoshan said, "This is Celestial Mountain....well, my cottage on the mountain anyway."

"It is so much prettier than I thought it would be," He admitted, "It looks peaceful as well."

"It is, the village down the road there, I have taken in orphans, the sick and the wounded, brought them here to heal and they stayed to create their own little village. The people take in the children that I bring back and I help them cultivate if they desire it," Baoshan said.

Lan Zhan had heard stories of the Immortal Baoshan doing such beautiful deeds. She helped others gain their lives back and have a fresh start. Those who wished were able to leave if they wanted to.

"This is amazing," Lan Zhan said in awe, "I would live here if I could."

"Hmm, Maybe you can," Baoshan told him, "We can discuss those things later, I need to go check Wei Ying, he has been asleep since I seated his container and spiritual energy. He is free of physical pain, but he is emotionally hurting from what I can see."

"Do you need help with anything?" Lan Zhan offered.

"Just for you to love him just as much as he loves you," She told him, "He told me how much of his heart that you have taken, which is all of it. He just let you go because you have your own duties."

"I can do my duties with him beside me, and I told him that, he just told me he doesn't want to be a burden," Lan Zhan said, "He is never, has never, and will never, be a burden to me. He has my heart as well. I took the chief cultivator because it will help keep him safe. No one can hurt him if I am beside him and he is beside me. People fear to provoke me, that has always been known."

"Which is why I like you," Baoshan said, "You are committed, protective, loving, kind, and caring to Wei Ying, and that is what I like. It is what he loves about you. How he feels safe with you."

"I promise, we will talk things through and I will always protect him, love him, and care for him," Lan Zhan stated with such utter devotion that it convinced Baoshan, that Lan Zhan was the one for him. He was his true soulmate.

"Want to come with me to see him? He may be awake," Baoshan said, "I have to make him something to eat as well, are you hungry?"

"I will eat when Wei Ying does and I would like to see him," Lan Zhan said.

Baoshan smiled at him and led him inside her cottage. Lan Zhan slowly followed behind her as she entered Wei Ying's room. He was awake, and he seemed content with his current situation.

"How are you feeling?" Baoshan asked Wei Ying.

He had tears in his eyes but a smile on his face, "I forgot what it was like living without pain," he said, "I feel free from it, and that guilt I have is going away slowly."

"That's good, you deserve to be healthy, happy, and pain free. That guilt, you have nothing to be guilty over," Baoshan said, "Oh, I brought someone to see you."

"Who?" Wei Ying asked.

Baoshan turned her direction to Lan Zhan, he had tears in his eyes, happy to see his Wei Ying again, happy to see he is safe, happy that he is pain free...he was also sad that he lived in pain for so long and never told a soul. Lan Zhan wanted to do everything he could to make it up to him.

"Wei Ying," Lan Zhan said in a soft tone.

"Lan Zhan?" he asked, sitting up more in his bed, "You're here?"

"Yes, It is really me, and I am here," He told Wei Ying, walking to him slowly.

"I will leave you two to talk, I have to do a few things so I will be back a little later," Baoshan said, kissing Wei Ying's forehead and leaving the boys to talk.
