"Hey," Baoshan said kneeling down to Wangji, "do you want to take him to his room for some privacy? You can stay with him."
Wangji nodded as she used a snap of her fingers to take them out of the room where all of the cultivators were, "thank you," Wangji said quietly as he laid Wei Ying down on the bed.
"You two do not need to be put through that again but I will leave this talisman here on the night stand for when or if you decide to come back and join us. I want them to see for themselves what you both have given to them and they just move on like nothing happened. Stay here as long as you like. It will be a while before A'Ying wakes anyway. I can leave a sedative for you as well if you need to rest for a while," she told him.
Wangji nodded, "Zumu, thank you for everything you are doing for us. And thank you for letting me know just how much Wei Ying really needs me right now."
She pulled Wangji into a comforting hug, "no need to thank me Dear. You both need each other right now more than anyone else. I am just happy to help and give you both the justice you deserve."
Wangji nodded as they pulled away from the hug. She wiped his tears away and left back to the others.
Wangji turned to his soulmate on the bed and smiled at him, "We will get through this," he said quietly.
He took the sedative that Baoshan left for him and laid with his love. He held him close and covered them with the blanket before he dozed off to sleep.

The others waited for Baoshan to return. Once she did, they demanded they be let go.
"You may leave once you recognize your faults," Baoshan spat, "some of you, such as the juniors, Wen Ning, Wen Qing, my daughter and son-in-Law and Lady Yanli, have no faults but they choose to stay to listen to what their beloved A'Ying went through. They did no wrong as they are the innocent ones here."
"Why blame us for your grandson's mistakes?" Sect leader Yao complained.
"And what mistakes would that be?" Baoshan asked.
"Well, he tore apart the Jiang family, he used demonic cultivation, and he caused more harm to all of us here the he had himself," the man spat.
"Excuse me!" Wen Qing yelled at the man, "he did not tear that family apart, they did that all on their own. He used demonic cultivation to protect his loved ones and your sorry ass because he had no golden core. He has done more for you then you have for anyone in your life. And A'Ying is on his second life now just so we are clear here. He died because of you fools!"
"Shut up you Wen-Dog!" Another disciple from Sect Leader Yao's group yelled.
Wen Qing was furious and the disciple was struck with a needle only to pass out, "insult me more! I have plenty of needles to go around!"
Baoshan snapped her fingers and the white wall began to show moving images, "just watch yourselves here and tell me who is right and who is wrong."
The screen played a scene:
Wei Wuxian was a small child playing with his parents one day. He was happy and cheerful like any other child should be. His parents told him that they had to go for a while and will be back soon. They asked him to only cry in front of family. Wei Ying made it a promise.
Time skipped forward to see little Wei Ying running through the streets of Yiling, vicious hungry dogs were closing in from behind him. He was covered in blood and bite marks. His clothes were tattered and he had dirt all over his body. He had a piece of food in his hand that he dropped causing the dogs to stop chasing him. The boy continued running until he reached his hiding spot in an alley.
