Chapter 6

No one's Pov

Renjun asks for her name to Jaehyun, Jaehyun refuses to say it. Renjun then asks him about her appearance, not that it will help either.

"She's got beautiful caramel skin, her light auburn hair fall perfectly on her shoulders, and them dreamy hazel eyes and how can I forget her super hot body,"

"She's perfect in every way, and I badly want her"

"I see.." Renjun goes awkwardly.

There's a glint in the boss's eyes that makes Renjun a bit envious. Renjun never had a chance to fall in love or even pursue anyone. He's well aware that he's attracted to the same sex but this type of things doesn't happen in his life. He believes maybe he's not up for it nor is he one of them, the ones who can easily tell who they like that way, that special way, he won't have that special feeling. It doesn't bother him, he doesn't need it, the people whom he considers family are enough for him. It's not his thing but seeing even a mafia boss fall in love, he giggles softly, it's amusing to him for some reason.

Jaehyun, hearing his giggles gets a bit nervous, "What is there to laugh about?," he is still stern in his voice.

"Uh sorry,"

"Have you guys talked to each other yet?"

"Then why would I ask for kitty's help"

"Makes sense. But I was threatened not asked," the last part Renjun whispered to himself.

"What-"

"Oh I was saying that you should start things slowly since you haven't ever talked before otherwise she will get repulsed considering how many times she could've been hit on by guys everyday,"

"Buy her a drink and praise her beauty but not too much, it can bore her," "Ask for her name, although you know it cuz of your investigation but don't call her name already, she will find you creepy and run away from you real quick"

...

"Is that all?"

"I mean for a first meeting this much is good enough and you can handle yourself later, can't you?"

"If tonight doesn't go accordingly then prepare yourself", he glares at Renjun and walks out of the room.

Renjun gulps at this, he's not religious but he prays no he begs to the Almighty God to let tonight sail smoothly between those two.

Renjun is not one to give advices on how to flirt or get their crushes but all the observation that he did on how guys flirted with his colleague and good friend Yeri, at times certain tricks worked but she rarely give her number to people who actually seemed sincere, so the advices he's giving are solely based on that and not any from his experience cuz he never had any.

Renjun's Pov

"Miss, boss is calling you"

I heard loud knocks on my door, "Miss wake up"

I groaned, why can't they let me get some good sleep.

"Wake up, or I'll use my spare key right this moment," a deep voice from the other side startles me up to open my eyes wide and get out of the bed in a second.

"W-Wait wait," I quickly put on my wig, at this point I should just sleep while wearing it too.

The door unlocks and Sungchan stands there with an unknowing look, I can't tell what he's thinking.

He comes closer trapping me as I sat on the bed,

"Aren't you breathing a little too hard, I didn't even do anything," he says looking straight in my eyes.

"Shut up! It's not because of you", I say, pushing him away.

"Hm.. anyway the boss is calling for you so go and freshen up quickly, I'll do your bed"

"Close the door after leaving"

"Yes mam"

I look at him once before walking into the bathroom

What a weirdo

I finally walked to the boss's office and the first thing my eyes landed on was his overjoyed face.

He can make such a face, I thought he only liked to glare and make himself feel superior to others.

"I'm not someone who praises just anyone but I've to say your ideas worked, she was so into me. So many men were sweet talking to her but none were as interesting and honest as me, hah bunch of fools. Anyway, last night was beautiful for me." "Keep up the good work"

Not that I badly wanted his compliments either but it did make me a little bit pleased, very little.

I gave a small nod to him before I walked back to my room.
