THIRD PERSON'S POV

2017

The doctor informed Miss Kang that she was one month pregnant and handed her an ultrasound image. The girl was astounded by the doctor's comments.

She wiped the gel from her tummy and muttered to herself, " I can't be pregnant...This isn't true. "

When she left the room, she had the sonogram image in her hands. She was greeted by her boyfriend, who was jitterily bouncing his legs in anticipation of her. When he heard the door shut, he immediately got to his feet.

She walked approaching him after taking a slow, deep breath. His partner questioned her, " How did it go? Are you okay? What did the doctor say? " and the girl gave him the sonogram, which he reluctantly accepted.

He questioned her, " I'm gonna be a d-dad?" and all she could do was nod, without even bothering to offer him an excited expression.

When the girl didn't answer, the boy withdrew from the hug and gave her a worried look before saying, " I'll take responsibility with our baby, and I promise to take care of you and our baby to the best as I can take. "

" Are you okay? Aren't you excited that we're having a baby together? "

She glared at him and said, " How can I be happy when I am just beginning my career as a runway model, Vinny? You know it's my dream and it will be gone because I'm pregnant with your baby! "

" Do you believe it's just you who is starting a career here? Don't even repeat those things back at me, Mina. We both didn't expect this will happen to you after what happened to us that night. "

9 MONTHS LATER

Vinny held his little boy in his arms and said, " Welcome to the world, my son, William Vincent Marcos Jr. " He was looking at his son, who was soundly dozing in his arms, and tears were welling up in his eyes.

His older brother Simon looked lovingly at his nephew on Vinny's arms and said, " Congrats Vin. You now have a junior of your own now. "

After Vinny informed Simon that his girlfriend was going to deliver his son soon, Simon booked a flight to Singapore right away.

Vinny's secret, in reality, is only known to Simon. Both of them go together. Vin called his brother right away to break the good news when his girlfriend announced she was expecting nine months ago.

Simon was surprised by what he learned, but he supported his brother's fate along the way and frequently called to get an update on him.

When his brother sobbed on their calls or video chats, Simon would feel heartbroken. He has experienced the suffering and misfortune that his younger brother, then 20 years old, experienced.

Sandro, their older brother who is currently working in London, and their parents, who reside in the Philippines, are still unaware of it.  Although Vinny was reluctant to tell them, he would eventually be forced to do so because secrets cannot be kept from people forever.

Simon gushed to his nephew on his brother's arm, " Ang gwapo mo naman Liam just like your uncle." Despite the tense atmosphere in the room between the infant's parents, Simon grinned when the baby fisted his finger on his small fists.

Vinny questioned her girlfriend, who was simply gazing out the window, " Aren't you going to carry our child Mina? " She glared at Vinny and the infant in his arms, " That thing destroy my career. And your expecting me to carry that!? " 

As his brother was about to speak to his girlfriend, Vinny sighed and forced a smile on his brother. Instead, Simon simply shook his head and turned to look at his nephew, who was wriggling in his brother's arms.
