VINCENT'S POV

Later that night, we were all gathered by the door waiting for mum to show up at the restaurant we had made a reservation for today.

My son was in my arms while I moved around. As soon as I sensed someone standing at my side I turned around to see Kuya Sandro grinning at my son.

Liam grinned at my brother as he wriggled free of my grasp, reached out his hands to him, and my brother excitedly snatched him up, moving up to kiss him on the forehead.

As soon as Kuya Simon wrapped his arms around my shoulders, we turned our focus back to dad, who was telling us to remain quiet because mom's car had just pulled up. I smiled at him and felt his arms grip my shoulders.

Mom entered the home as soon as the door opened. She was surprised when we yelled " happy birthday " to her. She laughed and got teary-eyed when dad kissed her, then Kuya Sandro, Liam, Kuya Simon, and I were the last to welcome her.

" Happy birthday mama. " Bati ng anak ko who was now being carried by Pops. My mom smiled and give my son a kiss on the lips. " Thank you so much my dear apo. " She said and walked towards Mama Meldy who was on a wheelchair.

After that, she gave mom a present, which she gratefully accepted and kissed her cheeks. " Happy birthday, Liza. " Mama Meldy said to my mother.

We all chuckled as she said, " Thank you, ma. You surprised me. " She passed by and stopped by to chat with everyone as mom and pops were now enjoying the visitor who wished her a happy birthday. When we arrived to the restaurant's outside party area, I grinned.

" Vinny. " I grinned at my cousin Matthew as I turned to face him. My son squealed when he saw my cousin, and I exclaimed, " Kuya Matt." He then grabbed my son from me.

He said, " Hello to my favorite baby cousin. " and I grinned at how well they got along. Kuya Matt added, " Hiramin ko muna si Liam, Vinny ha, doon lang kami kila mommy. " I nodded in agreement, and he patted my shoulder as he walked towards Tita Imee, who was giving my kid several kisses on the cheeks, who grinned in return.

I turned back and made the decision to proceed to the fountains, where I sat down by the seating area in silence while carrying a bottle of beer. I jumped as I sensed a presence next to me.

Although I am pretty familiar with the girl, I can't recall how I first met her, so I just shrugged and chose to look up at the sky, where the moon was shining brightly. She remarked, " The moon looks so beautiful, isn't it? " I switched my focus to her because she seemed rather enthralled by the moon.

I mumbled and drank my beer as I said, " Y-yeah it is... " She chuckled. " I'm Amethyst, by the way, and I'm sorry if I scared you. " she said. I nodded as I uttered " Vincent."

She questioned me, and I looked at her side features. " Do you ever believe that saying if you wish upon a falling star your request will be granted? " I quickly said " No. " then turned to look at the sky. What's the use of making a wish on a falling star if it never materializes?

She remarked, " Hmm.. I remembered this one boy in my past and he mentioned the same, he doesn't believe on it too. I wonder whether his doing well right now. " I was silently observing her while I listened to her talk.

She turned to face me with a dejected smile and regretfully stated, " But then he left without saying goodbye to me. " She shook her head and brushed away her tears as I murmured, " I'm sorry... "

" VINNY! " When my name was called, Amethyst and I both turned around to see my brother who had a worried expression on his face. I instantly got to my feet and walked toward him, leaving Amethyst behind.
