I looked up and saw Vinny sleeping comfortably, and my lips curled as I couldn't take my eyes off his lashes and lips. Ang gwapo talaga niya sa malapitan. Bakit kaya iniwan siya ng asawa niya?
" Ikaw ba talaga si William ? " I muttered to myself as I stared at him silently. I bite my lower lip and briefly close my eyes, Hays. wag ka nalang umasa Amethyst na siya pa si William baka nakalimutan kana nun.
I let Vinny sleep on my shoulder as I stared at the view outside. Si Liam pala andun sa lola niya natulog, katabi nila ang bestfriend ko. So bale andito kami ni Vinny dalawa sa likod naka upo. Not long after I decided to take a nap malayo pa kasi ang puntahan namin.
VINNY'S POV
When I heard a hushed voice and a camera click, I groaned; I also felt a pain in my neck and someone's head pushing on my head.
I gently opened my eyes and saw my son holding a phone and smiling at me; I looked him a question. " Hello, Daddy. "
" Hi sir. " Aviella waved, and Liam giggled as he covered his lips. I nodded and carefully stood up, but I grabbed Amethyst's head and leaned her on my shoulders. She moved, and I waited for her to wake up, but she didn't and just clung to me. I cracked a smile.
" Asan na tayo? " I asked as I tried to look outside the car, buti nalang at tinted ang Van kasi kapag nakita pato ng mga fans ko baka ma bash si Amethyst sakin.
" Andito na po tayo sa plaza sir. And si Madam Liza nauna na doon sa loob, sunod nalang po daw kayo sa loob sabi niya. "
" Bakit kayo naiwan dito ? "
" Ayh yun. Sinabihan po kami ni Madam Liza, sir. " She said and I nodded my head and bit my lip. " Don't call me sir. Call me Vinny nalang. Same age lang ata tayo. " I said to Amethyst's friend. " S-sige po sir- ayh Vinny pala hehe. " I laughed and stared as Amethyst's sleeping figure.
She's so lovely up close that I couldn't help but reach out and stroke her nose, which prompted her to wrinkle and her eyes to slowly open.
She massaged her eyes and peered out the window, as well as at me, who was just sitting there observing her. Her brown eyes widened and she gripped her cheeks in embarrassment as she turned back to face the window.
" Rise and shine friend, kanina kapa namin ginigising, ok kana ba? Halika na sa labas ?" Aviella replied as she nodded at me. I went out first, holding out my hand for Amethyst to take, and she blushed as she did. Aviella came behind me, and I heard her clear her throat. " Una na po kami sa loob Vinny. " She remarked, and I agreed, as did Amethyst, who only nodded and gave me a tentative smile.
I immediately turned back to my son, who was standing by the door with his arms crossed, and grabbed him and carried him on my arms. I shut the door and watched Amethyst and her companion walk ahead of me.
" Dada ? "
" Hmm ? "
" What do you think of Amethyst as my mother? I'd rather have her as my mother than the woman who claims to be my real mother. " my son asked, and I glanced at him shocked. " How'd you figure that out anak? I didn't tell about you that pa ah. " I murmured, as he rested his head on the crook of my shoulders, his arms snugly wrapped around my neck.
" To be honest, dada, she kinda looks scary, and I really don't want her to be my mother; I remember how she shouted at Lola's birthday party and tried to grab me, but Tito Sandro was quick enough to carry me on his arms. " my kid said, and my heart tightened. " Anak, I'm sorry. I wasn't there for you when you needed me the most, but I promise you I won't let her lay a hand on you again, okay? " I said, feeling his hug tighten around me and kissing his temple.
" But dada, my question, you didn't answer... " He pouted and stared at me. I shrugged my shoulders and smiled at him. " Do you want to know a secret? " I asked him, and he tilted his head in curiosity, " ano po yun dada? " I whispered something in his ear, and as I finished, his eyes widen in shock, and I began going towards the event.
" You know ate since you were kids, Dada? " he questioned, and I nodded my head and put my finger in my mouth, he giggled and did the same. I laughed and looked around for Mom.
I noticed her conversing with Amethyst, her friend, and some of the event organizers. I approached them and kissed mom and my son did the same too, who was now being carried by my mother again. Then Amethyst and I noticed each other.
Amethyst Gayle, my bunny, it's great to see you again.
