SANDRO'S POV

Vinny has been transported to the ICU, and pinauwi muna namin sila mom and pops, they have a meeting pa kasi tomorrow, they will be back namn din bukas. I and Simon walked into the room.

I slowly approached my brother's motionless figure and took his hand in mine; the sight of my brother's pallid face brought tears to my eyes, and bruises were growing on his cheeks. I looked over at the beeping cardiac monitor beside his bed; he was also wearing an oxygen mask on his face.

" Vinny... I'm sorry. "  I began as tears streamed down my cheeks. " Kuya apologizes for failing to protect you that day; please wake up; wag mo naman kaming iwan, Vincent."

" We need you... Your son needs you, you need to wake up for us Vinny..." I whispered as my voice broke and I squeezed my brother's hand. As I gulped back a sob, I closed my eyes and reopened them.

I kissed my brother's forehead and massaged his face one last time. " I love you so much, my little brother, please fight for us. " I carefully left his side and turned around to see Simon leaning against the wall, arms folded on his chest.

I placed a hand on his shoulder and nodded. Simon moved cautiously towards our brother's bed. When he sobbed, I turned around and closed my eyes, my heart breaking at my brother's cries for our youngest. " I'm so sorry, Vinny, I'm sorry. " he murmured. I bite my lower lip and look at the wall in front of me as I listen to what he says to our brother.

" Please, wake up Vincent. Ano ba! Gumising kana diyan Vincent! Please... Please...Wake up..." He came to a halt and stared at Vinny's unconscious figure." Please don't leave us, w-we can't take it... Liam needs his father, me and Sandro need our little brother, dad and mom need their younest son, Mama meldy needs her favorite grandson. We need you to wake up, Vin... " He pleaded, and I turned around to see him kneeling in our brother's bed, leaned his head beside Vinny's hands, which had the IV Fluids.

" Me and Kuya Sandro will find out who did this to you, Vin, and I will not show mercy to that person. Papatayin ko yung gumawa sayo nito. They will pay for this. " Simon raged. " And I'm sure your ex wife is the reason behind this."

" Vincent, get well soon; I love you so much," Simon remarked as he stood up to leave his room. I turned around to look at my brother one last time, and as went outside. I spotted Simon sitting by the plastic seats. He was peering out the window at Vinny. I approached him gently and sat next to him.

" I'm such a bad kuya.... Iniwan ko lang siya doon.. hindi sana siya nakahiga diyan if I didn't left him. " I started and chucked bitterly. " Nasabi pa nga niya sakin na parang may masamang mangyari eh.." he continued and I felt Simon's gazed on me.

" What do you mean kuya ? " He asked. " Bago kasi mangyari ang pagsabog, he told me that he has been feeling something na parang may mangyari masama, he was nervous and scared throughout the day. All I said to him was nothing and whatever happens he'll call me right away. "

" Kuya, please don't blame yourself for this; it's not your fault; it's the person who did this to our brother..." He continued, and I agreed. " I know naman na, it's not my fault but I still can't help but to blame myself for what happened to our brother, I should have left him.. " I sadly said and played with my fingers.

" Kuya, Vinny didn't want you to blame yourself for what happened to him.." He whispered, placing his hand on my shoulder, and I nodded my head, staring at our comatose brother's form. " Kuya, what I said a while ago is true; I'll have no mercy on whoever did this to our brother."

I made a serious face at him. " Will do this together Simon, don't ever go alone because who knows what will happen to you. We both know we have the same thoughts on who the mastermind is but we need to be discreet muna. " I said, and he agreed.

" Kuya, what are we going to say to our nephew about his father? " he said, as I sighed and leaned against the wall. " I don't know....." I muttered, crossing my arms across my chest and closing my eyes for a moment because I was exhausted.
