" Kuya bakit ? May nangyari bang masama sa anak ko ? What's the problem ? " I asked him but he didn't speak, I was about to walked passed him but he grab my arm.
I gave him a look that screamed, ' What the heck is going on' and he responded, " Just don't go out there... "
I responded by asking, " Bakit? " He shook his head while maintaining a firm grip on my arms.
An all too familiar voice yelled, " GET OFF ME! I JUST WANT TO SEE MY SON! " I froze in horror and turned to see Kuya Simon. I didn't look to see who was calling when my phone unexpectedly rang at that precise moment.
" Anak nasaan ka ba ? Kanina pa kami naghahanap sayo " Mom said on the other line, " nasa fountain lang ako mom. Is Liam with you right now ? "
" Yes andito kami sa loob ng sasakyan kasama ko yung dad and kuya Sandro mo. Anak a girl just gatecrashed the party and claimed that she's the mother of my apo. Anak is she really the mother of Liam ? " She worriedly asked. I sighed.
I said, " I'm going to confront her muna. Keep safe going home and kaya po muna bahala kay Liam. " I was left yanking my hair out in annoyance. Mina was being held by two guards as I made my way back to the party.
She yelled, " VINCENT! GIVE ME BACK MY SON! " and I furrowed my brows in response. Kuya Simon is at my back, I can feel it. " Your son? Since when was Liam your son? And how the hell did you find me and my son! " I questioned her, as she shook off the grips the guards had on her arm.
" He is, after all, my son, Vincent, therefore I have the right to have him! He comes from me. Return him to me, please! I continue to be Liam's mother. " She begged, and I laughed incredulously.
"And why would I give my son to you? Have you forgotten what happened in Singapore? You refuse to recognise Liam as your kid, and now you're trying to wrest custody of my son from me." She received my glare.
" What's the sudden change of mind Mina Kang? I can't believe you suddenly came here 5 years later to get my son away from me. "
" That was five years ago! I've changed, Vincent, and I realize that what I did to you both, especially to our son, was wrong. Vincent, please grant me custody of my son." she pleaded.
" I won't let you ever see our son Mina. Never in a million years, ever since you left that night, I vowed myself to not let my son near you after what you did to him before. " I halted and shot her a deathly gaze. I remarked and left the restaurant with Kuya Simon, saying, " I just can't forget what you did to get rid of him."
When we arrived at the parking lot, my knees started to give way, and I collapsed to the ground sobbing hysterically. My tears began to fall at that point.
"AHHHHH. BAKIT BUMALIK KAPA!!! WALANG HIYA KA! AHHHH " I screamed. " Vinny tama na, halika na. " Kuya Simon said, I looked up at him with tears on my face. " Kuya please don't let my son have her. Kuya Simon please. I don't want my son to know her. "
" Vinny stand up. Will always be here with you alright. Di ako papayag na mapa sa kanya ang nephew ko. " Kuya Simon said as he hugged me and I clenched my fist in his shirt.
" Tama na... Tama na... We should go home now, kailangan kana ni Liam ngayon. " He said as he guided me towards his white audi r8 car.
GAYLE'S POV
" OI ALAM MO BANG NAG GATECRASH DAW SA PARTY KAGABI ANG NANAY NG ANAK NI VINNY. " sigaw ng kaibigan kung si Aviella Dane Benitez pagpasok nya sa office ko. I glared at her.
" Do you really need to shout at my office Aviella! " I scolded her, she did a peace sign and I throw the pen and sighed.
" Oops sorry na kasi. Curious lang namn kasi ako. Ito naman, aga aga friend mukhang wala ka ata sa mood ngayon. " Aviella said as she took a seat infront of me.
" I have a lot of paperwork to do Avie. Pero mukhang distracted ako sa nangyari kagabi. " I said to her, she raised her brows at me.
" Bakit ka naman distracted sa nangyari kagabi eh di ka naman ano diyan no. " She said and I can't help but bit my lip.
" Diba I told you about my childhood friend noon na who left without saying goodbye. " I started and she squints her eyes at me and motioned me to continue.
" My childhood friend and Vincent look alike though. " I said to her. " Sure ka ba diyan Amethyst parang impossible naman ata yan but for me no. Bagay kayo dalawa ni Vincent kaysa doon sa babae na nag claim na mama daw siya ng anak ni Vincent. "
" Nothing's impossible ika nga Aviella. Jusko. Halika na nga muna, labas muna tayo dito sa office ko. Na I stress ako jusko. " I said as I stood up and grabbed my sling bag and black Iphone X.
" Ayoko nga. Kakarating ko nga lang aalis na naman ako. Ang init sa labas Amethyst! " She whined and I shook my head as I pulled her up.
" Halika na kasi libre kita sa Starbucks and Jco. " I said as I dragged her out of my office. She squealed. " Sabi mo yan ha... Let's goo hehe. " I shook my head at her and walked towards my red toyota innova car.
