Chapter 103: Recurring Nightmares

BOOM

"Cease femme!" I pushed my legs as fast as they could go, skillfully ducking under buildings and jumping over fallen debris.

A scream slipped past my lips when a bullet zipped pass my head, followed by another. I did my best to ignore the rumbling underneath the ground as I stumbled through an alley to escape my attacker.

"Surrender!"

The rumbling underneath the ground became rougher as I collapsed onto the concrete to avoid running into the giant metal-like worm creature that shot out of the ground. "Scrap!"

I scrambled backwards to get away from the roaring creature only to bump against a hard surface. Shakily, I raised my head to face the one eyed Con towering over me. "I have you now."

"Get away!"

My wings shot out but he quickly grabbed hold of my arm and roughly yanked me back to ground before I could take off.

"Let me go...you jerk!" I fought and flailed my arms wildly in his grip but my futile attempts didn't seem to phase the larger being as approached the creature that lay coiled among the streets.

"Driller bot." He growled out.

The creature released a squeal as it wrapped itself around us, awaiting its owner's command. "We have caught the child."

He wrapped a servo around my neck and raised me up into the air. "We must take her to Lord Megatron as commanded."

"M-M-Megatron?" I gasped, my anxiety shooting up at the mention of that name. "P-Please not him!"

Another metallic sound was released before I was dropped to the ground with little care. "Hey!" I glared up at my attacker.

I was about to take off again until I felt myself being squeezed by layers of metal and dragged underground.

Bumblebee

Bee skillfully jumped onto the side of building and caught the two humans before they could hit the ground. He quickly transformed, reversing to avoid the limp body that dropped to the ground. He whirred softly as the humans scooted backwards against his hood, their eyes trained on StarScream's dead body.

"Bee!" Sam threw himself off his hood and approached the driver side, despite it being empty. "Where's Liza? Have you seen Liz?"

::A case yet to be solved.::

"What do you mean you-Gosh! You gotta find her Bee, come on! Get to it!" Sam huffed, patting his roof.

It wasn't exactly easy to find the girl when he was being shot at. Yes, his spark was pulsing with anxiety and fear for his sister, but his focus was on trying not to get his head blown off.

::I'm working on it!::

She could be anywhere in the city! He hadn't seen her flying around, so he suspected she could be traveling on foot. Not like she had a choice, considering the fact that there were ships roaming the sky. Either she had been shot down and could be bleeding to death somewhere or she could be captured by Decepticons.

Bumblebee hoped to Primus that wasn't the case, knowing that Megatron would kill her on sight if given the chance. The two had some...history.

She was very much alive. He could still feel her through their family bond. She was panicking and scared, but she was alive nevertheless. Their father was...well there father was probably beating the living slag out of a Con since he was unresponsive to her emotions.
