Chapter 64: Gotta Go Back Once Again
____________________________________________

"No Booms, you can't go with me to school." I chided as I pushed the pouting dog back on his legs.

The Cyber-dog stubbornly pushed himself back into my arms with a loud whine.

"Boomer."

I have to go to school again, but Boomer doesn't want me to leave the base.

At all!

I've been trying to leave for the past five minutes, but he keeps nudging me around like a water balloon.

"You have to stay here. I'll only be gone for a few hours."

He planted his bottom on the ground and gave me the saddest puppy eyes that rivaled Annabelle's. That's too long.

"You're not gonna get me with that trick. Listen, I don't wanna go either, but if I wanna act like humans then I have to learn about their history and culture."

I am forced to do so. Send help.

"I'm sorry." I kneeled down and cradled his head in my arms. "I'll be back soon. I promise."

The dog whined some more, but eventually accepted that I'm gonna have to go for a while anyway.

"Don't worry. My dad and the others will watch after you while I'm gone. If you ever get bored, you're free to mess with Hide" I stood and allowed my father to take him to his side.

My dad offered to take part responsibility for Boomer while I was gone to school or any other place off base where he couldn't go. I trust only him at the moment to take care of him, because the others don't seem too fond of him yet.

Jazz will literally just throw himself at Boomer and give him more attention and affection a dog could ask for. Prowl is...okay, but he's not a fan of the surprise attacks. The Terror Twins don't mind Boomer at all, but I'm afraid I'll come back from school one day to see him painted pink. Jolt thinks he will be attacked. The other set of twins name call. Bee is hanging around Sam all the time, but he likes him. IronHide....lets just say we have a rabid beast walking around who thinks he's king of the jungle and Ratchet doesn't like his tools chewed.

My dad, however, is the best choice. I mean, Boomer isn't no where near as loud and needy for attention like Earth dogs. He'll follow you around throughout the day if he's bored or if he's just curious about what you're doing, but he won't bother you.

Got a meeting to go to? An important talk with the president?

Oh, no worries, Boomer will just lay by your feet without being asked and won't make a single sound.

He's not a troublesome dog, I swear..am I getting to off topic again?

Stop me next time.

"We will take care of Boomer, Liza. You run along, so you won't be late for school." My dad said while trying to cheer up Boomer by scratching behind his ears.

"Ok. Bye dad and Boomer." I minimized and hopped into the waiting Camaro, slightly startled when the seatbelt immediately slid around me and buckled itself, the door shutting closed afterwards. ::...Time to go!::

"I don't wanna go, Bee. It's school."

::Too flippin' bad!:: His engine roared loudly and he sped off the base.

"I truly hate you."
