Chapter 73: Ambush
_____________________________________________

"Ok, how about dis one?"

A soft click sounded, before a soft song began to flow through the speakers.

Gentle lyrics were spoken softly with the human instrument playing in the background along with bells and quiet drum sounds to add a slight beat to the song.

It was so relaxing and melodic. It would probably do one good if you just go and sit in a field of flowers with this song playing.

Most likely Ratchet.

"I like this one. What's it called?"

"Ribbon in th' Sky." Jazz answered as he switched lanes with the TopKick ahead. "It's by a human named Stevie Wonder. Pretty cool guy."

"I think I heard one of the humans mention him before. I asked Epps about him once and he said something about him being a famous singer."

"Ah did a lil research on em' a while ago and was shocked to see he was able to write his songs and produce his own music while he's blind!"

Man, what a legend.

"The things humans can do." They may be annoying, but they can do fascinating things. When they're not busy being annoying.

"Ya might like this next one." There was another click, before the next tune began to blast through the radio.

Poppin' bottles in the ice, like a blizzard

When we drink, we do it right gettin' slizzard

Sippin' sizzurp in my ride (in my ride) like three six

Now I'm feelin' so fly like a G 6

Like a G 6, like a G 6

Now I'm feelin' so fly like a G 6

Like a G 6, like a G 6

Now I'm feelin' so fly like a G 6

The music was a bit loud for my liking, but I kept my mouth shut knowing if Jazz wasn't in his alt mode right now he would've been on his feet dancing until he passed out! And then Prowl would have to put him to bed.

People with common sense knew music was Jazz's spirit and his second love...right before Prowl. If you really pay attention, you'll notice that he also uses music to express his mood and emotions. Normally, he's happy so I'm used to hearing upbeat pop songs.

I'm glad he's being mindful of my sensitive hearing and not playing music at the highest setting. Unlike Bee who likes to play unsuspecting clips of humans screaming out 'BOO' to scare me. Idiot.

I could detect the faint sound of Jazz's voice humming out the lyrics behind the music as he slowed behind IronHide at the red light.

Gimme that Moet (et)

Gimme that Crystal (stal)

Ladies love my style, at my table gettin' wild

Get them bottles poppin', we get that drip and that drop

Now now, give me two more bottles cause you know it don't stop

I leaned against his door and released a sigh with my eyes glued to moving world outside the window as my finger tapped to the beat against the armrest absentmindedly. My eyes followed the trees and buildings until they zoomed out of view. Then they remained in one spot catching only glimpses of the blurry landscapes and the inhabitants roaming this planet.
