Chapter 122: Machinery vs Organic
______________________________________________

"Pieces of fragging slag! I hate every single one of you!"

All I could see was red.

I reached for anything I could grab and tore it apart with my bare servos. It took everything in me to not slam my foot into the running humans below, their screams of terror echoing throughout the building.

"Destroy the lab!" I didn't even need my father's command to slam my fists into the empty glass boxes and lab equipment.

"Y-You monster!" I swung around in search of the voice, my optics furiously searching for the fleeing human that had dared shout those words at me.

"Oh, I'm the monster?" I scoffed, turning back around to deliver a harsh kick to a Cybertronian model. "Yet you guys are the ones enslaving my family! Pieces of slag!"

If my father wasn't here to stop me, I would've murdered every single one of you scraps.

"Ratchet! Ugh...move." Accidentally nudging some humans aside with my foot, I continued throughout the lab in search of the green medic.

"Ratchet where are you? Ratch!"

Please, Primus, don't tell me we're too late! I better find him in one piece!

"Ratchet!" Growing frustrated by the second, I began to look around the area for anything that could lead me to the medic. This place was huge he could be anywhere!

"Hey," I snapped at a human scientist cowering behind a nearby crate. "Where's Ratchet?" The man flinched before taking off, screaming his head off.

Stupid human.

Rolling my optics, I looked around until I found another human running by. "Hey," Leaning down, I grabbed hold of the shrieking human and raised her to eye level.

"Where's Ratchet?" I questioned, ignoring her fruitless attempts to escape from my grasp. "Is he around here?"

The wiggling woman ceased her pounding on my fists and met my gaze with a shocked gasp. "Y-You speak? H-How...we didn't...I don't remember programming you-"

My grip tightened.

"You didn't program me. You never will. You cannot make me or my family. We are not some science experiment that you can use to boast about or boost your ego. We are beings just like you...although with the way you guys act I would hardly compare myself with heartless things like you."

The woman blinked, swallowing thickly. "Hey...we didn't...listen if you're gonna kill me, make it q-quick."

"As much as you probably deserve that right now," I glanced behind me to see the others distracted with tearing the lab apart. "I'm not gonna bother. I need you to tell me where Ratchet is. Now."

She shifted uncomfortably, her eyes squinting in confusion. "They have names?"

My anger flared even more. "Yes, he has a name! Where is he? Autobot medic, green guy? Where are you holding him?"

She shifted again and pointed shakily across the lab. "I-In one of the holding cells...they're getting ready to transport it for smelting downst-"
