Chapter 104: A Tragedy

Bumblebee

The yellow scout slung Soundwave's body off his canon before rushing over to assist the whining Cyberdog that was trapped underneath Decepticon bodies and fallen ship debris.

"Bumblebee!" With the help of Dino and Ratchet, the three were able to lift the large piece to free Boomer.  The Energon-covered Cyberdog limped from underneath the debris, barking loudly at the bots before taking off down the road.

:: Hey wait up bro!:: Bee quickly transformed and prepared to follow him, his engine roaring furiously.

"Bee where are you two going?" Ratchet questioned, dropping the ship equipment.

:: Liza...The child has been reported missing.:: A news reporter stated. :: Gotta blast!::

"Liz is missing? I'll come with you!" Sunstreaker said, transforming into his Lamborghini.

Sideswipe followed suit. "Me too!"

Ratchet gave a sharp nod. "Acknowledged. We're gonna regroup with Prowl and the others!" The medic transformed along with Dino and Jolt to rejoin the others.

:: Come on!:: The Camaro took off after the speeding Cyberdog, the twin Lamborghinis trailing behind him.

WOOF

:: Lead the way, boy!::

The three bots raced after Boomer, relying on their sharp senses to pick up the barks and the cloud of dust as they steered around fallen debris. A few curses were said as the dog made sharp turns and leaped over flipped vehicles, his barks growing in volume.

"Slag!" Sunstreaker cursed as the Cyberdog slipped into an alley.

:: W-Wait!::

"Come on," Sideswipe urged, reversing. "We can catch him on the other side!" The three bots turned onto another street to catch up with Boomer.

:: Faster, Faster, Faster!:: Bee clipped, his engine roaring as he took the lead. He had to save his little sister before it's too late!

"I swear if any Con touched her, I'm gonna tear them apart! Boomer better save some for me!" Streaks snarled.

When it came to Liza, that dog was an absolute beast! He wouldn't be surprised if a massacre occurred by the time they reached him. He once saw the Cyberdog rip a Con's chest apart and bite his leg off like it was nothing! He almost felt sorry for whatever Con came across his path.

"He's gonna need our help! Surely Boomer will wait until we get there, right?" Sideswipe questioned.

Liza

"Come now, child. Do not look at me that way."

My optics followed the red mech as he circled me, his double-sided sword tucked tightly against his side. "Leave me alone," I growled out.

"There's no need to harbor such bitterness, young one." He kneeled and lifted my chin with surprising gentleness. "Join me and you too could experience the beauty of our planet. There is so much for you to see."

"Never," I spat, snatching away from his hold. "Not in a million years. I would never betray my father."

"You are mistaken, young one." He stood to his full height, hydraulics hissing as he gestured to the monstrous planet that hovered above. "We are gods compared to the humans. You fail to realize that what is being done is for the sake of our race. We are saving our home."
