(This is going to be fun. Thought I'd actually write about if Shimono is in Shindo and Kokichi's lives. And how that works. This makes Shuichi's dad in his life as well ironically and I just I'm just like secretly shipping Shuichi's uncle and father with Shimono in my head and like no no just resist lol. Also Kokichi kinda thirsty cuz he's boy crazy at the moment. Shindo likes boys but is less enthusiastic about trying to go out and date one.)

Shuichi's been living with his uncle since his parents are almost never home due to their jobs as a famous reporter and actor. He would start school in a week and they have rarely made an effort to visit him. That was until today.

"Brother!" The door to Shuichi's uncle's house bursted open to reveal a very excited blue haired male in his fourties rush inside as Shuichi sat on the couch reading his favorite Danganronpa book.

"D-dad?!?" Shuichi gets up looking confused as he puts down the book.

"Where is your uncle?!?" His dad ran over to look at Shuichi with excited golden eyes.

"Geez calm down. Haya..." Shuichi's uncle stopped preparing dinner to calm his little brother down.

"Is it true!? Is it true!? Shimono is back! I haven't seen him in years!!!" Haya rushed over to Shuichi's uncle and shook him excitedly.

"Yes. Shimono has moved back. He'll be moving here soon." Shuichi's uncle Kasaru explains.

"Who?" Shuichi asked curiously why his dad is acting like a giddy school girl.

"SHIMONO!" Haya rushed over to couch and jumped it landing next to Shuichi freaking him out as he's never seen his father so lively before, "He was my classmate back when I was your age! He's always had a talent for trouble. Gods! The stories he must have! I need to talk to him!" His father already has a pen and paper ready, "I don't care if he scolds me. I need to hear his latest stories about his life. Besides. We are good friends. I missed him when he had to leave." Haya looks at Shuichi explaining excitedly.

"I still think you have a crush on him." Shuichi's uncle replied walking over after fetching himself a cup of coffee.

"Whhhaaa?" Shuichi blinked staring at his father in shock.

"'No no nothing like that. He's just got the best stories. I could write for days about the things he's been through. God. If only I could get the evidence to publish half the shit he's told me. It be world changing! But at last not a single evidence to prove such stories has ever crossed my path! It's not fair!!! How can someone be so stingy!!! Brother!!! You should be helping me find out if there's any truth to these stories!!!" Haya spazed crying.

"Why are you dragging me into this?" Kasaru blushed and sighed.

"Because you are an actual detective!!! Have you no heart for your brother! You should be helping me!" Haya cried.

"We're half brothers at best. And I'm not interested in aiding this little weird obsession with the guy. It's nothin but lies anyways." Kasaru sighed.

"No way! I refuse to believe it!" Haya stands up, "The truth is stranger than fiction. I believe in him! I will find the truth out there one day...." Haya paused and looked at Shuichi, "My son!!!!" Haya hugged Shuichi who froze up, "You can help me right? It'll be great bonding time!" Haya chimed.

"Haya..." Kasaru growled and sighed, "Fine than as a family we'll all go see Shimono." He explains.

"That's fine." Haya let's go of Shuichi and excitedly rushes to the door, "Well than let's go met them half way!" Haya chimed.

Shuichi just felt so strange. This was the first time his father ever hugged him or really wanted to spend time with him. He was useful to his father.

"Ah! Wait! Dad! I'm coming!" Shuichi snapped out of it and follows as Kasaru growled unhappy and followed them.
