Missing

The Ultimate Detective goes missing after a horrible break up with Kaede. All his classmates gather together to find him with Kaede feeling like it's her fault, but Kokichi knows something else is up. Little does Kokichi know that his investigation will not only find Saihara, but someone he once left behind in his life.

He was running through the streets with the shadows chasing him again. How many times does this make this? Tenth? Twelfth? Honestly why he didn't do this more often is beyond him.... Oh yeah that's right. That's because his master would beat the shit out of him along with the team.
The sound of screaming tires made the young priest run faster than he's ever ran before.

"Shit! Nishi's bad enough but I got fcking Hirose on my trail! Shit! Shit! Shit!" He quickly ran toward a draw bridge that he knew would lift up soon as a ship was approaching it.

He just didn't expect to see that young guy there standing on the railing looking at the ship and the water below. He ran for a new reason now toward the young blue haired boy with lifeless golden eyes. The bridge began to tilt and the priest hoped with all his heart he'd make it to him.

"Please! Don't!" The priest called out managing to grab the blue haired boy's long black sleeve with black stripes.

The boy looked at him confused and saw the tears in the priest's eyes, "Kokichi?" He asked confused as the bridge was slowly getting to high for them stand properly.

The purple thunder bird screamed to a halt on the other side of the bridge. Nishi screamed at the priest in anger.

"SHINDO! Get back here you bitch!" He wasn't having any of this.

Shindo lost his footing and yelled as he took the boy with him as they were flung by gravity to the base of the bridge. Shindo clung to the boy breathing hard and trying to control his trembling. The blue haired boy seemed to slowly snap out of his own thoughts and look at him.

"Ah! Kokichi! Your shaking! Are you okay?!?" His eyes looked like they had more life in them.

Shindo looked at the boy wondering why he kept calling him that, but decided it didn't matter right now.

"We need to go. Come on. I'm okay. Let's get out of here." Shindo quickly stood to his feet and leads the boy away from the bridge.

Shindo knew he could never get away from Nishi as he's a tracker who's seen his face. So he opted for heading to the park to sit down with the blue haired boy and make sure he's alright.

"Are you okay? You were.... Going to end your life weren't you?" Shindo sat down on a bench and gently leads Shuichi to sit next to him.

"I uh...." He looks away in guilt.

"Hey it's okay. Everyone has moments like that. Even me. We aren't superheroes. We can't all have bullet proof hearts." Shindo softly spoke as Shuichi looks at him in awe.

"Even you? But you seem so carefree and so...." Shuichi tried to think of the words.

"Haha even me." Shindo played along smiling softly, "You never know how people truly feel as we all hide behind our own curtains. To release our stress and anguish when no one is looking as I guess... we feel it is a sin to show it in person." Shindo explains softly.

Shuichi paused and really took a look at Shindo. He had blackish purple hair and wore prescription glasses along with a white and red priestly robe.

"Uh....." Shuichi couldn't help but cover his mouth and stare at Shindo confused.

"Haha. Pay attention. My words are more important than anything else right now." Shindo booped the boy's nose smiling sweetly making him turn red a bit as he nodded.
